Raymond Lifestyle has appointed its Chief Executive Officer, Satyaki Ghosh, as Whole-Time Director for a five-year term, marking a key leadership move as the company sharpens its focus on consumer-centric growth, innovation and value creation.

The appointment will run from May 6, 2026 to May 5, 2031, subject to shareholder approval. Ghosh took charge as CEO of Raymond Lifestyle in January 2026.

Ghosh brings more than 25 years of experience across FMCG, textiles, retail and consumer businesses, with exposure to both B2B and B2C operations. Before joining Raymond Lifestyle, he was with the Aditya Birla Group, where he served as CEO of Cellulosic Fashion Yarn at Grasim Industries. His role there involved leading a manufacturing-heavy business with emphasis on operational excellence, sustainability and profitable growth.

He also previously led Domestic Textiles at Aditya Birla Group and headed the Thai Acrylic Fibre business, managing multi-country operations and global manufacturing footprints. Earlier, he spent over seven years at L’Oréal India, including as Director of the Consumer Products Division, where he worked with brands such as L’Oréal Paris, Garnier and Maybelline.

Calling Raymond an iconic Indian brand with a legacy of more than a century, Ghosh said the company offers “new avenues for growth.” He added that the focus would be on consumer centricity, innovation and sharper offerings to contribute to larger value creation.

The move places Ghosh in a stronger board-level role at a time when legacy lifestyle and apparel companies are increasingly leaning on brand depth, retail discipline and sharper consumer positioning to stay competitive. For Raymond Lifestyle, the appointment signals continuity at the top and a clear bet on an executive with experience across consumer brands, textiles and large-scale manufacturing.
