AI-powered business intelligence startup FireAI has raised ₹4 crore in seed funding, led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The company says it will deploy the capital to speed up product development, expand into new markets, and strengthen its AI engineering team as it builds what it describes as a conversational business-intelligence ecosystem.
What FireAI is building?
FireAI’s platform is built on a proprietary AI engine that supports descriptive and diagnostic analytics and lets business users query data in natural language instead of navigating complex dashboards. Key roadmap items the company has flagged include:
- Causal Chain: an upcoming diagnostic analytics layer,
- Text-to-SQL for natural-language database queries, and
- a proprietary ETL tool aimed at improving scalability, processing speed, and usability.
The company says its stack connects to 700+ data sources, serves a 30-member team of employees, and counts Government e-Marketplace (GeM) among its clients. It also claims 30% better forecasting accuracy and real-time alerting to speed decision-making.
Beyond India, FireAI has established a presence in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kenya, and Africa, operating as a certified OEM with Alchemist LLP as channel partner in those regions.
Why IPV is backing it
IPV’s co-founder and CEO Vinay Bansal said the firm sees FireAI addressing a “critical gap” in enterprise AI, turning the current glut of data into conversational, accessible intelligence that saves time and resources for businesses.
Founder view
Founder-CEO Vipul Prakash positions FireAI as “from India for the world,” emphasising simplicity and accessibility in BI and a shift away from heavy dashboards toward real-time, conversational insights. Prakash is an SRM University alumnus with prior stints at Zomato, Delhivery, and BharatPe.

Market context
FireAI’s plans are riding broader adoption of AI-driven analytics. Industry estimates cited alongside the announcement peg the global data analytics market at $74 billion in 2024, projected to reach $482 billion by 2033; in India, the market is estimated to grow from $2.6 billion to $27 billion over the same period. (Figures attributed to industry estimates.)
FireAI is pitching a conversational BI workflow anchored by a homegrown AI engine and a clear product roadmap (diagnostic analytics, Text-to-SQL, proprietary ETL). IPV’s cheque gives it runway to staff up and push into international channels already seeded via OEM partnerships.
The proof to watch for next: how quickly the company can convert its 700-source connectivity and forecast-accuracy claims into wider enterprise adoption and whether conversational querying can shoulder more of the analytics workload inside large organisations.
