Sid’s Farm has raised more than Rs 81 crore, or about $8.4 million, in a pre-Series B funding round backed by a group of institutional and strategic investors.
The round was led by Omnivore, Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office, Dodla Dairy, Next Bharat Ventures and LIO, with participation from other investors.
The latest capital will support several parts of the company’s expansion plan. Sid’s Farm intends to strengthen its supply chain, increase manufacturing capacity and widen its distribution network. The company will also invest in product innovation, build deeper relationships with dairy farmers and expand into new markets.
The fundraising follows Sid’s Farm’s $10 million Series A round, which was co-led by Omnivore and Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office. The dairy brand had also secured $1 million through a bridge round before the Series A investment.
Founded in 2016 by Dr Kishore Indukuri, Sid’s Farm operates a direct-to-consumer dairy business offering milk and other food products. Its model places the company close to both ends of the dairy supply chain, from the farmers producing the milk to the families receiving its products.
Sid’s Farm says every batch of milk is checked against multiple quality and safety parameters. According to the company, it conducts more than 10,000 quality tests each day.
The business currently works with over 5,000 dairy farmers. Its engagement with farmers includes fair pricing practices, veterinary assistance and education programmes designed to support dairy operations.
On the consumer side, Sid’s Farm serves more than 50,000 families across several cities. The new investment is expected to help the company widen access to its products as it moves into the next phase of growth.
The funding also brings together investors with experience across agriculture, food, dairy and early-stage businesses. Dodla Dairy’s participation adds a strategic dairy-sector investor to a round that also includes venture funds and family-office capital.
As Sid’s Farm expands its production and distribution capabilities, the company will compete for a larger share of India’s direct-to-consumer dairy market, where Country Delight and Akshayakalpa Organic are among the other active brands.
