The conversation around GTA 6’s music may be starting to move from background chatter to something more deliberate.
Several musicians and music-linked accounts have shared posts carrying visuals strongly associated with Rockstar Games and the world of Grand Theft Auto VI. The posts arrived close together, giving fans reason to wonder whether Rockstar is preparing to reveal more about the game’s music. For now, though, that remains speculation rather than a confirmed announcement.
One of the most distinctive clues came from Freebandz, which shared an image of a sports car carrying a Leonida licence plate reading “VCE BBY.” Leonida is the fictional setting referenced in GTA 6 material, making the plate one of the clearest visual links in the current wave of teasers.
Travis Scott gives the speculation its strongest Rockstar connection
Among the artists involved, Travis Scott’s post stands out because he directly tagged Rockstar Games.
The rapper shared GTA-inspired artwork featuring high heels wrapped around a pole. His accompanying message included the words “See yall soon” followed by a tag to @rockstargames. The post also included phrases such as “NOW ITS TIME” and “to be continued,” adding to the sense that something related may be forthcoming.
That still does not confirm Scott’s role in GTA 6. What it does provide is a direct public link between his teaser and Rockstar Games, something that makes his post more concrete than a purely fan-driven interpretation.
GameSpot also noted that fans had previously discussed possible GTA 6 references in one of Scott’s music videos, although that earlier interpretation was itself speculative.
Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards and Rauw Alejandro add to the pattern
Morgan Wallen also posted imagery styled around the GTA aesthetic. His teaser showed a swimming pool without water, and the timing placed it alongside the other artist posts circulating on September 15.
Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones was also identified as having released a teaser. GameSpot’s captured post shows it was published on September 15 at 9:30 PM.
Another notable post came from Rauw Alejandro. His Instagram caption included a direct mention of @rockstargames, while the accompanying artwork featured a bright pink inflatable flamingo in a poolside setting.
Taken together, the posts form a pattern: multiple music figures, closely timed GTA-style imagery and, in some cases, direct Rockstar references.
What they do not provide is an official list of GTA 6 musicians, radio hosts or soundtrack contributors.
Why the music angle makes sense
Music has long been a major part of the Grand Theft Auto format, particularly through its in-game radio stations and licensed tracks. The reporting around the latest teasers points to that history as the main reason the current posts are being interpreted as possible signs of a music-related reveal.
Softonic separately reported that Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen and Future had posted social media clues, framing the activity as possible hints about involvement in GTA 6.
Morgan Wallen’s post was more subtle and did not mention Rockstar directly, while it identified similar activity from Future on Instagram.
Because those posts are teasers rather than formal credits, it is safer to treat them as signals of possible involvement, not confirmation that any particular song, radio station or artist appearance will make it into the final game.
GTA 6 is scheduled for November 19
The timing of the posts is especially notable because Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Softonic carries the same November 19 release date and lists the platforms as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
With the release approaching, artist-related promotion would fit naturally into the broader pre-launch cycle. Still, the material currently available does not establish whether these posts are tied to the soundtrack, in-game radio, promotional collaborations or something else.
There is clearly coordinated-looking GTA imagery circulating among major music names, and Travis Scott’s Rockstar tag gives the discussion additional weight. The “VCE BBY” Leonida plate, meanwhile, is perhaps the most unusually specific visual clue in the batch.
For now, those details make the posts worth watching. They do not yet amount to an official GTA 6 music reveal.
