AI-native incident management startup Sherlocks AI has raised Rs 7.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by SenseAI Ventures, with participation from Uppekkha. The fresh capital will support the company’s efforts to enhance its product capabilities and accelerate its expansion in the North American market.
Founded in 2025 by Gaurav Toshniwal and Akshat Sandhaliya, Sherlocks AI is building technology designed to help enterprises quickly investigate and resolve production incidents across increasingly complex digital infrastructure environments. As organizations continue to adopt cloud-native architectures and microservices-based systems, the need for efficient incident management solutions has become a critical operational requirement.
Building Intelligence Into Incident Resolution
Sherlocks AI’s platform uses AI-powered agents to automate and streamline the process of identifying, analyzing, and managing production incidents. The software is designed to examine issues across multiple layers of enterprise technology stacks, helping engineering and operations teams reduce the time required to diagnose and resolve disruptions.
The platform can investigate incidents spanning databases, Kubernetes environments, networks, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. By consolidating insights from these different systems, Sherlocks AI aims to simplify troubleshooting and improve operational reliability for enterprise customers.
As modern technology environments become more distributed, organizations often face challenges in identifying the root cause of incidents. Sherlocks AI seeks to address this complexity through automated analysis and contextual insights generated by its AI-driven platform.

Expanding Presence Among Enterprise Customers
Since its launch, the startup has gained traction among enterprise and mid-market businesses. Its customer base includes companies such as Fynd, Lokal, and TradeIndia, reflecting growing demand for tools that can support large-scale digital operations.
The company stated that its platform integrates with more than 30 enterprise tools across cloud, observability, database, and infrastructure ecosystems. These integrations are intended to provide teams with a unified view of operational issues and reduce the need to switch between multiple monitoring and management systems.
Sherlocks AI also noted that it has achieved SOC 2 Type 2 certification, a widely recognized compliance standard that evaluates the effectiveness of an organization’s controls related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
Funding to Fuel Product Growth and Market Expansion
The newly raised capital will be directed toward strengthening the startup’s product offering while also supporting go-to-market initiatives in North America. The region represents a significant opportunity for enterprise software companies, particularly those focused on artificial intelligence and infrastructure management solutions.
By investing in product development, Sherlocks AI aims to further enhance its AI capabilities and broaden the scope of its incident management platform. At the same time, expanding commercial operations in North America is expected to help the company reach a larger customer base and strengthen its presence in one of the world’s most competitive technology markets.
Experienced Founders Driving the Vision
Sherlocks AI was founded by entrepreneurs with experience in building and scaling technology products. Before launching the company, Gaurav Toshniwal co-founded Aasaanjobs, a recruitment platform that was later acquired by OLX. He subsequently served as Chief Technology Officer at Doubtnut, where he worked on technology and product development initiatives.
Co-founder Akshat Jain also brings experience from Doubtnut, where he led the company’s search and machine learning functions. His background in artificial intelligence and large-scale technology systems aligns closely with Sherlocks AI’s focus on applying AI to operational challenges faced by modern enterprises.
With fresh funding in place and a growing customer base, Sherlocks AI is positioning itself to strengthen its product capabilities and expand its reach in the global incident management software market.
