Gurugram-based home-cleaning products startup Scrubsy has raised Rs 27 crore, or around $3 million, from consumer-focused investment firm V3 Ventures. The funding will support the company’s efforts to expand its manufacturing operations and scale its business.
Scrubsy operates under BoldChem Science Pvt Ltd and follows a direct-to-consumer model. The startup develops and sells cleaning products designed for everyday household needs, with a focus on kitchens, bathrooms and footwear.
Fresh Capital to Strengthen Manufacturing
The newly raised funds will be used mainly to expand Scrubsy’s manufacturing capabilities and support its broader business growth. The company plans to continue investing in its in-house manufacturing infrastructure as it works to increase its ability to develop and produce cleaning products.
Product development will also remain a key area of investment. Scrubsy has built its operations around developing, formulating and manufacturing its products internally, giving the company control over the process from product formulation to production.
The startup’s portfolio currently includes foam-based kitchen cleaners, bathroom cleaning products and shoe-cleaning solutions. Its product range is aimed at addressing different cleaning requirements across the home and for footwear.
Building Products Around Customer Feedback
Scrubsy has also incorporated technology into its product development process. The company uses artificial intelligence to analyse customer reviews and identify cleaning-related problems faced by consumers.
The insights gathered from customer feedback are then used as part of the product development process. This approach allows Scrubsy to identify specific cleaning needs and use consumer responses to guide the development of its products.
The company’s focus on in-house formulation and manufacturing is also central to its strategy as it looks to expand its product portfolio and operations.

Startup Founded in 2025
Scrubsy was founded in 2025 by Kartik Sibal, Ishan Suri, Nitin Jain and Aditya Bhasin. The startup operates in the home-cleaning products segment and has developed products covering kitchen, bathroom and footwear cleaning.
Rather than relying entirely on external manufacturing, Scrubsy develops, formulates and manufactures its products in-house. The model gives the company an integrated approach to product development and production as it builds its consumer business.
The latest funding provides the startup with additional capital at an early stage of its operations, with manufacturing expansion and product development forming the key areas of focus.
V3 Ventures Expands Consumer Portfolio
V3 Ventures, which led the investment in Scrubsy, is an early-stage investment firm focused on consumer businesses and is backed by Verlinvest.
The investment firm has built a portfolio of consumer-focused companies in India across different categories. Its India portfolio includes Ugaoo, Deconstruct, Salad Days, go zero and The Hosteller.
For Scrubsy, the investment marks an important funding milestone less than two years after its founding. The company will use the fresh capital to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities, continue developing products in-house and expand its presence in the home-cleaning products market.
With manufacturing and product development at the centre of its plans, Scrubsy is now focused on building its operations while expanding its range of cleaning solutions for consumers.
