Omni Fiber, a Cincinnati-based provider of fiber-optic internet services, has raised 200 million dollars in a mix of debt and equity financing to accelerate its growth across the U.S. Midwest and Texas. The funding includes 150 million dollars in debt financing from Stonepeak Credit and Oak Hill Advisors, a 50 million dollar equity investment from Oak Hill Capital, and a 10 million dollar working capital facility from Republic Bank and Trust Company.

Founded in 2022 by CEO Darrick Zucco, Omni Fiber has quickly established itself as a leading provider of fiber-optic broadband, TV, and phone services for residential and business customers. The company specializes in offering symmetrical internet speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second, without data caps or hidden fees. In addition, it provides premium Wi-Fi and local customer support, ensuring a reliable and transparent service that meets the needs of smaller and mid-sized communities.

Driving Growth in Underserved Communities

The new funding will allow Omni Fiber to expand its fiber network more rapidly into communities with limited access to high-speed internet. The company has invested over 400 million dollars in building an advanced XGS-PON fiber network, a technology capable of delivering multi-gigabit speeds and scaling to meet growing demand.

Since launching its first community in December 2022, Omni Fiber now serves approximately 60 small and mid-sized communities across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Texas. By the end of 2025, the company aims to reach around 340,000 locations. The latest funding will help speed up network construction, improve existing infrastructure, and extend services to new areas.

Bringing Reliable Connectivity Where It Is Needed Most

Many communities in the Midwest and Texas still face limited broadband options, which can affect education, work, and business opportunities. Omni Fiber focuses on these areas, providing reliable internet that supports remote work, online learning, telehealth, and digital entertainment.

By offering symmetrical high-speed connections, transparent pricing, and local customer support, the company ensures that households and businesses have dependable service. Its focus on underserved communities helps bridge the digital divide and delivers meaningful access to modern internet technology.

Smart Financing for Sustainable Expansion

Expanding‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ fiber networks is a costly endeavor. Omni Fiber’s combination of debt, equity, and working capital finance allows the company to grow in a disciplined manner while keeping the quality of the service.

The company is able to manage its daily operations in a very efficient manner and keep up with the high service standards during the expansion through the 10 million dollar working capital facility. This equilibrium method guarantees that the network will be able to roll out smoothly and that the service will be at the same level for the existing customers and the new ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ones.

Strengthening Local Economies Through Better Internet

High-speed‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ internet that is stable over a long period of time may cause a significant positive change in the economy of a locality. The places that are equipped with reliable broadband connection experience the growth of business, easy access to remote work, and improvement in the educational and healthcare sectors.

Moreover, the expansion of Omni Fiber to small towns and communities of medium size promotes the competition of local broadband markets. The different providers are pushed by this to upgrade their products and the users – that is both the residential and the business customers – get better internet speeds, improved service, and lower ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌prices.

Expanding Access and Opportunities

With 200 million dollars in new funding, Omni Fiber is set to continue its rapid growth throughout the Midwest and Texas. The company aims to bring high-speed, reliable internet to more homes and businesses, helping close the digital divide and supporting economic and social development in underserved areas.

Omni‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Fiber’s growth is a clear example of how a concentrated investment and the use of technology can bring a necessary service such as internet connectivity to the core of the demand for a fast, reliable internet. With the company going to more and more areas, it is not only making the internet more accessible but also opening up new possibilities and changing the digital environment for both the residential and commercial ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌sectors.
