A Flydubai flight travelling from Dubai to Israel was forced to make an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia after a struggle inside the cockpit reportedly sent the aircraft into a steep dive, leaving two pilots injured. A passenger’s mother has also claimed that one of the pilots was stabbed during the incident.
The incident involved Flydubai flight FZ1073, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft travelling to Israel. Following the midair emergency, the flight was diverted to Tabuk in western Saudi Arabia, where it landed safely.
The airline confirmed that all passengers were safe and accounted for but did not disclose what had happened inside the cockpit.
