Personal assistance and concierge startup Hulp has raised $2.6 million, approximately Rs 25 crore, in a seed funding round as it looks to expand its technology-backed services for urban households.
The round was co-led by Sparrow Capital and BITKRAFT Ventures. DeVC (Z47) also participated, along with individual investors including PB Fintech co-founder and chairman Yashish Dahiya.
Hulp plans to use the fresh capital to introduce more AI-enabled workflows across lifestyle, household and operational services. A portion of the funding will also go towards strengthening its senior leadership team and improving the company’s technology and service capabilities.
A platform for managing everyday tasks
Founded in April 2026 by Tarun Mathur, Neha Kulwal and Vishal Singh Khutel, Hulp is building a personal assistance platform designed for urban households.
The service allows customers to delegate weekly, monthly and one-time responsibilities across more than 15 categories. These requests are handled by dedicated assistants, with AI-supported systems coordinating the operational work behind them.
Users can submit tasks through WhatsApp or Hulp’s mobile application using either voice or text. The available services include assistance with government documentation, kitchen-related requirements, runner services, laundry, gardening, event bookings, restaurant reservations and travel.
The model is intended to bring several everyday requirements into one service rather than requiring users to approach different providers for each task.
Expansion beyond Delhi-NCR
Hulp currently operates in Delhi, Gurugram and Noida. The startup plans to extend its services to Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai.
The company says its 50-member operations team currently manages routine household and lifestyle assignments for users.
The funding gives Hulp additional resources to expand this operating network while developing the technology required to coordinate a wider range of requests. Its next phase will involve balancing city-level expansion with the consistency needed for tasks that often require local execution and human support.
Experienced founding team
Before launching Hulp, Tarun Mathur was the co-founder and chief business officer of PolicyBazaar, part of PB Fintech. He was involved in overseeing several business verticals at the company.
With Hulp, the founding team is applying that operating experience to a different consumer problem: helping households manage routine but time-consuming responsibilities through a combination of personal assistance, technology and coordinated on-ground execution.
The seed round will support that effort as the startup expands its service categories, enters new cities and builds out its leadership and technology teams.
