Bengaluru-based fashion startup UniqYou has raised Rs 15.8 crore in a seed funding round led by Arkam Ventures and Antler, with participation from several angel investors from India’s technology, commerce and consumer sectors.

The fresh round values UniqYou at around Rs 64 crore post-money and comes in the early stages of the company’s journey as it works on building a technology-led fashion platform for women shoppers.

The funding has brought together institutional investors as well as experienced founders and executives from India’s startup ecosystem, giving the young company a mix of financial backing and industry experience.

Arkam Ventures and Antler Lead the Round

UniqYou’s board approved the issuance of 37,487 compulsory convertible preference shares (CCPS) at an issue price of Rs 4,215 per share to raise Rs 15.8 crore.

Arkam Ventures invested Rs 9.3 crore in the round, making it the largest investor. Antler invested Rs 4.96 crore.

The round also saw participation from angel investors, including Ankit Garg, who invested Rs 1 crore.

Other investors named in the funding include Abhishek Goyal, Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, Raveen Sastry and Nandita Sinha.

The investor group brings together names associated with companies such as Tracxn, Wakefit and Myntra, adding considerable experience from India’s consumer internet and commerce ecosystem to UniqYou’s early-stage cap table.

Founders Bring a Technology Focus to Fashion

Founded in 2026 by Sneha Priya Reddy and Nishanth Jois, UniqYou is developing a technology-led platform focused on women’s fashion.

The startup is using artificial intelligence to identify emerging fashion trends and curate relevant products for women shoppers. Its broader aim is to create a more personalised shopping experience by using technology to connect consumers with products that match evolving fashion preferences.

This technology-first approach forms a key part of UniqYou’s positioning as it enters a market where consumer preferences and fashion trends can change quickly.

Startup Attracts Experienced Commerce and Consumer Angels

One of the notable aspects of UniqYou’s seed round is the participation of several founders and senior executives with experience in India’s consumer and commerce businesses.

The investor group includes Abhishek Goyal, co-founder of Tracxn; Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, co-founder of Wakefit; Raveen Sastry, co-founder of Myntra; and Nandita Sinha, former CEO of Myntra.

Their participation gives the seed round a strong connection to India’s consumer internet and fashion ecosystem.

The list of names associated with the round also includes Kanchi Naik, Aarthi Muralitharan, Ankit Garg and Bala Srinivasa, along with members of the Arkam Ventures and Antler teams, including Abhishek Mishra, Rahul Chandra, Raghav Goyal and Rajiv Srivatsa.

Arkam Ventures to Hold 14.93% Stake

Following the allotment of shares, Arkam Ventures will hold a 14.93% stake in UniqYou, while Antler will own 7.96%.

Among the angel investors, Abhishek Goyal will hold a 1.59% stake, while Chaitanya Ramalingegowda will hold 0.24%.

The post-money valuation of UniqYou stands at around Rs 64 crore based on the funding transaction.

The capital is expected to support the company’s working capital requirements and general corporate purposes.

UniqYou Had Earlier Been Reported to Target Rs 12 Crore

The latest fundraise is also larger than the amount UniqYou was previously reported to be targeting.

A Moneycontrol report had earlier said that the startup was in talks to raise around Rs 12 crore, or approximately $1.3 million, through a funding round.

The company has now closed the round at Rs 15.8 crore, bringing in additional capital during its early phase of development.

Fashion Startup Funding Remains Active

UniqYou’s fundraise comes as investors continue to back companies operating across India’s fashion and apparel ecosystem.

Several fashion brands have raised capital in recent funding rounds. Snitch raised Rs 278.9 crore in a Series B round, while The Bear House secured Rs 50 crore in Series A funding.

MyDesignation also raised Rs 40 crore in Series A funding, while Alaya by Stage3 secured a seed round to scale its ethnic-wear business and AI capabilities.

More recently, D2C fashion brand Theater raised Rs 75 crore in a Series A round led by Niveshaay.

For UniqYou, the Rs 15.8 crore seed investment provides early-stage capital to develop its technology-led fashion platform, while the participation of investors with experience across consumer, commerce and fashion businesses adds another layer to the startup’s fundraising story.
