Anant Patel Joins Practo as VP of Growth and Marketing

Digital healthcare platform Practo has appointed Anant Patel as its new Vice President of Growth and Marketing. Patel made the announcement via a LinkedIn post earlier this week.

In his new role, Patel will spearhead initiatives aimed at driving both user acquisition and engagement across the platform. His appointment comes at a time when Practo is expanding its digital outreach and enhancing its presence in the health-tech space.

Before joining Practo, Patel served as the Digital Marketing Lead for Disney+ Hotstar, overseeing both India and international markets. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in scaling user growth and retention across geographies including the Middle East and Africa through targeted digital campaigns.

Patel’s career spans leadership roles at several well-known consumer tech and digital companies such as MakeMyTrip, OLX, Hungama, and Justdial, giving him a strong foundation in consumer-centric marketing and digital transformation.

His appointment at Practo marks the company’s effort to further strengthen its digital focus to leverage changing consumer behavior in healthcare seeking. The role involves directing product expansion towards integrated marketing activities to fuel Practo’s continued growth in India and abroad.

Patel’s appointment comes after other recent leadership transitions at Practo, highlighting a period of strategic restructuring to scale up operations and improve customer experience.
