Siddharth Parakh joins the Britannia after spending four-and-a-half years with the Group CFO and Group Strategy Office at Tata Sons.

Britannia has appointed Siddharth Parakh as its Head of Strategy and Business Development, with effect from August 3, 2026.

The company’s board approved the appointment through a circular resolution passed on August 2, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Britannia disclosed the leadership appointment in a stock exchange filing.

Parakh brings more than 13 years of experience spanning corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, investments and capital allocation.

Before joining Britannia, he worked with the Group CFO and Group Strategy Office at Tata Sons for four-and-a-half years. In that role, he was involved in strategic initiatives, investments and mergers and acquisitions across Tata Group companies.

Earlier in his career, Parakh served as an Assistant Vice President in the investment banking team at Edelweiss, now known as Nuvama. He advised Indian and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and fundraising assignments across sectors including consumer businesses, technology, healthcare and new-age companies.

His professional experience also includes roles with MAPE Advisory Group, Grant Thornton and PwC, where he worked on corporate finance advisory and transaction-related assignments.

The appointment places Parakh in charge of Britannia’s strategy and business development function, drawing on his experience across corporate planning, investments and deal-making.
