Cristiano Ronaldo sits at the top of a list of the highest-paid celebrities on Instagram, with his estimated price for a single post placed at ₹27 crore. The football star also leads the group by follower count, with 678 million followers.
Lionel Messi follows in second place with 515 million followers and an estimated ₹22 crore per post. Interestingly, Selena Gomez, who has a considerably smaller audience of 404 million followers, carries the same estimated price of ₹22 crore per Instagram post, according to the figures presented in the list.
The ranking offers a striking look at the value attached to some of the world’s biggest celebrity accounts, where hundreds of millions of followers can translate into estimated per-post prices running into several crores of rupees.
Ronaldo commands the highest estimated Instagram price
At ₹27 crore per post, Ronaldo has a ₹5 crore lead over Messi and Gomez, both of whom are estimated at ₹22 crore.
The Portuguese footballer also has the largest Instagram following among the celebrities included in the ranking, giving him a substantial audience advantage over the rest of the list.
Messi occupies the second position, while Gomez takes third place despite having more than 100 million fewer followers than the Argentine footballer.
That difference is one of the more notable features of the ranking. The numbers indicate that follower count alone does not move in exact proportion with the estimated price assigned to an Instagram post.
Kylie Jenner and Dwayne Johnson share ₹20 crore estimate
Kylie Jenner ranks fourth with 381 million followers and an estimated price of ₹20 crore per post.
Dwayne Johnson takes fifth place with 382 million followers, just one million more than Jenner, while carrying the same ₹20 crore estimated price.
Ariana Grande follows in sixth position. Her 363 million followers are associated with an estimated ₹19 crore per post.
Kim Kardashian is seventh with 344 million followers and an estimated Instagram post price of ₹18 crore.
Beyonce and Khloe Kardashian level at ₹16 crore
Beyonce ranks eighth with 299 million followers, while Khloe Kardashian is ninth with 292 million.
Both are listed at an estimated ₹16 crore per Instagram post despite a seven-million difference in their follower counts.
Justin Bieber completes the top 10 shown in the ranking. The singer has 286 million followers and an estimated price of ₹15 crore per post.
Highest-paid Instagram celebrities shown in the ranking
| Rank | Celebrity | Followers | Estimated price per post |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Cristiano Ronaldo | 678M | ₹27 crore |
| 2 | Lionel Messi | 515M | ₹22 crore |
| 3 | Selena Gomez | 404M | ₹22 crore |
| 4 | Kylie Jenner | 381M | ₹20 crore |
| 5 | Dwayne Johnson | 382M | ₹20 crore |
| 6 | Ariana Grande | 363M | ₹19 crore |
| 7 | Kim Kardashian | 344M | ₹18 crore |
| 8 | Beyonce | 299M | ₹16 crore |
| 9 | Khloe Kardashian | 292M | ₹16 crore |
| 10 | Justin Bieber | 286M | ₹15 crore |
| 14 | Virat Kohli | 272M | ₹12 crore |
Virat Kohli ranks 14th with ₹12 crore estimate
Virat Kohli is the only celebrity outside the top 10 specifically highlighted in the graphic. The Indian cricketer is placed at No. 14, with 272 million followers and an estimated price of ₹12 crore per Instagram post.
That puts Kohli ₹15 crore below Ronaldo’s estimated rate, although the comparison also comes with a large difference in audience size. Ronaldo’s listed following of 678 million is more than twice Kohli’s 272 million.
Kohli nevertheless remains part of a remarkably small group of personalities whose estimated Instagram post values are expressed in double-digit crores.
Follower numbers do not perfectly mirror estimated post prices
A closer look at the ranking reveals that the relationship between followers and estimated post price is not completely linear.
Dwayne Johnson, for example, has 382 million followers, marginally ahead of Kylie Jenner’s 381 million, but both are valued at ₹20 crore per post. Selena Gomez and Lionel Messi have a much wider gap of 111 million followers, yet both are placed at ₹22 crore.
Similarly, Beyonce and Khloe Kardashian are listed at ₹16 crore despite having different follower counts.
The figures therefore present a ranking where audience size is an important visible factor, but not one that produces an identical price movement for every celebrity.
For brands and marketers, the numbers also illustrate the extraordinary scale of celebrity-led social media economics. At the top end of this ranking, a single estimated Instagram post is valued at tens of crores of rupees.
