Electric mobility startup E3 Electric.AI has introduced the E3 TRION, an electric scooter built around connected technology, modular design and features aimed at making everyday EV ownership more predictable and convenient.
The company is positioning the TRION as more than a conventional electric two-wheeler. Its approach combines a human-centric design with predictive intelligence and smart systems that are designed to learn and adapt over time. A high-efficiency powertrain has also been developed with a focus on balancing performance and range. E3 Electric.
AI says the overall package is intended to address common concerns around electric mobility, including range, safety, servicing and ownership costs.
Three variants target different riding needs
The E3 TRION range includes the C1, C1x and C2, with each version offering a different proposition.
The C1 comes with a removable battery, giving owners the flexibility to charge it away from the scooter. The C1x, meanwhile, offers an IDC-certified range of 165 km.
For buyers seeking stronger performance, the C2 sits higher in the range. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in six seconds in Sport mode. E3 Electric.AI has also equipped the scooter range with multiple riding modes, although the available information does not provide complete specifications for every mode and variant.
Rather than relying only on specifications, the company has also focused on making the scooter practical for everyday use. Its modular construction, wheel setup, stance and technology layer have been developed around greater control and a more connected riding experience.
E3 COMMANDCENTER sits at the heart of the connected experience
A key part of the TRION is the E3 COMMANDCENTER, E3 Electric.AI’s proprietary intelligent IoT platform.
According to the company, the system continuously monitors connected vehicles and is designed to identify potential problems before they result in breakdowns. It also supports proactive servicing and software updates over the life of the scooter.
Its connected feature set includes AI HEALTHSCAN, which offers 10-second diagnostics, along with predictive reports, a trip planner with charger location support, connected navigation, live information, remote battery monitoring and vehicle controls. A dashcam and SOS assistance are also part of the technology package.
The battery options mentioned for the TRION include a 2.3 kWh portable VOLTPORT unit and a 3 kWh fixed battery. The scooter will be offered in six colour options.
E3 TRION C1x and C2 prices
E3 Electric.AI has priced the TRION C1x at Rs 1,09,999, while the TRION C2 carries a price of Rs 1,19,999.
Founder and CEO Sanjeev P. said the TRION was developed with Indian families in mind. His comments at the launch centred on making daily mobility smoother and more dependable through adaptive technology and an intuitive user experience.
E3 Electric.AI builds around an AI-led mobility architecture
Founded in 2024 by P. Sanjeev, E3 Electric.AI describes itself as a deep-tech electric mobility company developing intelligent electric scooters around AI, modular architecture and human-centric design.
The company recently raised Rs 100 crore, or about $10.5 million, in a Series A round comprising equity and debt. The funding round was led by BluVenture Holdings.
With the TRION, E3 Electric.AI is placing connected diagnostics, predictive vehicle monitoring and flexible battery options at the centre of its electric scooter strategy. The C1, C1x and C2 give the company a three-variant lineup spanning removable-battery convenience, longer certified range and a more performance-oriented offering.
