Consumer-to-consumer (C2C) marketplace startup Vingo has secured Rs 10 crore (around $1 million) in a seed funding round led by IndiaQuotient. The investment also saw participation from Inuka Capital and Rishabh Goel, the founder of Credgenics.
The fresh capital will help the company strengthen its technology platform, improve trust and payment systems, better understand user behaviour, and expand its marketing efforts across key customer segments as it scales its operations.
Funding to Strengthen Product and User Experience
Vingo said it will use the newly raised funds to enhance its core product while investing in infrastructure designed to make buying and selling pre-owned goods more reliable. A significant focus will be on improving trust mechanisms and payment systems that support secure transactions between users.
The startup also plans to study user behaviour more closely to refine the platform experience and make buying and selling simpler. In addition, part of the investment will be directed toward marketing initiatives aimed at reaching more users across its target audience.
Building a Marketplace for Pre-Owned Goods
Founded in March 2026 by Parth Sarthi, Saransh Goyal, and Krish Vashistha, Vingo operates as a consumer-to-consumer marketplace where individuals can directly buy and sell second-hand products.
The platform is currently available in Bengaluru and can be accessed through both Android and iOS devices. By focusing on direct transactions between consumers, the startup aims to simplify the process of discovering and purchasing pre-owned products while addressing common concerns around trust and payment security.

Technology Designed to Improve Trust
One of Vingo’s key differentiators is its emphasis on creating a safer marketplace for users. The platform combines identity verification, community-driven product discovery, escrow-backed payment systems, and bidding features to reduce risks often associated with peer-to-peer transactions.
Identity verification helps establish user authenticity, while escrow-backed payments are designed to ensure funds are handled securely until transaction conditions are met. Community-based discovery and bidding features further support transparent interactions between buyers and sellers.
These features are intended to build confidence among users, making it easier for individuals to trade used products without relying on traditional classified listings.
Wide Range of Product Categories
Vingo supports transactions across multiple product categories, catering to consumers looking to buy or sell a variety of pre-owned items.
The marketplace includes smartphones, cameras, gaming consoles, musical instruments, fashion products, and sports equipment. By offering a diverse selection of categories, the company seeks to serve users with different buying and selling needs within a single platform.
The growing popularity of pre-owned goods, particularly in electronics and lifestyle products, has created opportunities for platforms that can offer secure and convenient trading experiences.
Expanding in India’s Growing Recommerce Market
Vingo’s expansion plans come at a time when India’s recommerce sector is expected to witness steady growth. According to market research cited by the company, the country’s recommerce market is projected to increase from $5.91 billion in 2026 to $8.61 billion by 2030.
The startup plans to continue focusing on the consumer-to-consumer segment as it expands its platform and grows its user base. By strengthening its technology, improving transaction security, and increasing market reach, Vingo aims to establish a stronger presence in India’s evolving pre-owned goods marketplace.
With fresh seed funding in place, the company is set to invest in the areas it considers most important for long-term growth, including product development, secure payments, customer trust, user insights, and marketing, as it continues building its C2C marketplace in Bengaluru and prepares for broader expansion.
