Kabeer Biswas, co-founder of Dunzo, is raising Rs 102 crore, approximately $11 million, for his new venture M. The funding round includes participation from Peak XV Partners, Blume Ventures, and Kunal Shah’s CRED, which operates under Dreamplug Technologies. The development marks Biswas’s return to the startup ecosystem with a fresh focus on consumer technology.

Building AI Solutions for Everyday Living

M has been co-founded by Kabeer Biswas and Kartik Mishra as a consumer-focused artificial intelligence startup. According to the company’s LinkedIn profile, the platform is designed to simplify home management by automating everyday decisions, coordination, and services. The idea is to reduce friction in daily life by leveraging AI-driven systems that handle routine household needs more efficiently.

Incorporation and Funding Structure

The company was incorporated in 2025 under the name Curious Digital Pvt Ltd. As part of its seed funding round, the board has approved the issuance of 54,956 Series Seed Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares at a price of Rs 18,577 each. This issuance forms the basis of the planned Rs 102 crore fundraise, as per regulatory filings.

Peak XV Partners is leading the round with a commitment of Rs 46.4 crore, equivalent to $5 million. Blume Ventures is contributing Rs 37.12 crore, or about $4 million, while CRED is investing Rs 18.56 crore, roughly $2 million. The mix of investors reflects continued interest in early-stage AI-driven consumer startups in India.

Funds Already Received and Expected Inflow

According to the company’s filings, M has already secured Rs 83.53 crore, which is close to $9 million. The remaining portion of the funding is expected to be received in due course, completing the full round of Rs 102 crore.

Valuation and Ownership Breakdown

Based on available estimates, the Bengaluru-based startup is expected to be valued at Rs 300 crore on a post-money basis. Following the allotment of shares, Peak XV Partners will hold a 15.47 percent stake in the company. Blume Ventures will own 12.37 percent, while CRED will have a 6.19 percent share.

The co-founders, Kabeer Biswas and Kartik Mishra, will each hold 3.1 percent of the company. A significant portion, 38.67 percent, is held by the PVK Family Trust, which is likely controlled by the founders and their families.

Employee Stock Options Set Aside

M has also allocated a substantial 21.11 percent of its equity toward an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. This move indicates an early effort to attract and retain talent as the company scales its operations and builds its product.

Return of a Seasoned Entrepreneur

Kabeer Biswas is best known for his role at Dunzo, a hyperlocal delivery startup that received backing from Reliance Retail. He later went on to lead Flipkart’s quick commerce initiative, Flipkart Minutes, until October 2025. His latest venture marks a shift toward AI-driven consumer services, an area gaining traction among investors and entrepreneurs alike.

With M, Biswas and his co-founder aim to address everyday challenges in home management through automation and intelligent systems. The successful fundraise highlights investor confidence in both the founding team and the broader potential of AI-led consumer solutions.
