Coffee equipment and services provider Kaapi Machines has raised Rs 50 crore in an equity investment from Sedna HoReCa (Sedna), a private equity-backed B2B hospitality solutions provider. Alongside the funding, the two companies have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening Kaapi Machines’ position in India’s rapidly expanding coffee ecosystem.
The fresh capital is expected to support the company’s next phase of growth by expanding its product offerings, improving operational capabilities, and enhancing services for customers across the hospitality and coffee industries.
Partnership Focuses on Manufacturing and Technology
As part of the collaboration, Kaapi Machines plans to broaden its product portfolio while strengthening its manufacturing capabilities. The company will also invest in upgrading its technology infrastructure, warehousing network, and after-sales service operations to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
The partnership is designed to help Kaapi Machines scale its business while meeting the growing demand for professional coffee equipment and related services across India.
In addition, the company intends to explore selected opportunities in adjacent product categories that complement its existing offerings. It plans to leverage Sedna HoReCa’s capabilities and industry expertise to serve its current customer base with a wider range of hospitality-focused solutions.

The company plays a significant role in supporting businesses involved in coffee preparation and service by providing equipment, technical expertise, and operational support.
With coffee consumption steadily increasing in India, Kaapi Machines aims to strengthen its support for both established businesses and new entrants in the hospitality sector. The company plans to continue serving the growing market through its expanding portfolio of equipment, professional training initiatives, research and development capabilities, and comprehensive after-sales services.
