Italian fintech company Tundr Tech Corporation S.r.l. has raised €11.6 million in a Series A round, securing fresh capital to expand its business around simplifying corporate welfare management for companies and their employees.

The round brings together a sizeable group of institutional and financial investors, with CDP Venture Capital SGR S.p.A. and 360 Capital Partners S.A.S. taking the lead.

CDP Venture Capital participated on behalf of the Corporate Partners I fund, its ServiceTech sub-fund and the MiSE Co-investment Fund. The funding also drew participation from Azimut Libera Impresa SGR S.p.A., Kairos Partners SGR S.p.A., Banca Sella Holding S.p.A. and Crédit Agricole Italia S.p.A.

Giorgio Seveso, CEO and Co-founder of Tundr said: “More than ever, corporate welfare is shaping the world we live and work in,”. We’re building an ecosystem that’s open, democratic, and designed around people. This new funding will help us scale faster and make benefits truly accessible, anytime, anywhere.”

For Tundr, the Series A is primarily a growth round. The company plans to use the capital to accelerate its expansion as it works on making corporate welfare management simpler for both businesses and employees.

That focus gives the transaction a clear operational purpose. Rather than being presented around the launch of a new product or entry into a specific geography, the funding is tied directly to scaling the company and the corporate welfare systems it provides.

A Series A backed by a broad investor group

The composition of the round stands out as much as its size.

Alongside the two lead investors, Tundr has attracted capital from investment managers as well as banking groups. The presence of Azimut, Kairos, Banca Sella and Crédit Agricole Italia adds another layer to the investor base supporting the company at the Series A stage.

The transaction also involved an extensive group of legal, financial and specialist advisers, reflecting the number of parties involved in completing the financing.

BonelliErede advised Tundr on the transaction. Its team included partner Giulia Bianchi Frangipane, managing associate Enrico Goitre, associates Elena Cozzupoli and Francesca Gea Rusconi, along with Davide Cardinali.

On the investor side, RPLT advised CDP Venture Capital on legal and due diligence matters. The team included senior associate Alessandro Anedda and partners Riccardo Rossotto, Claudio Elestici and Stefano Chiarva.

Specialist due diligence work involved Roberto Testa and Antonella Iaderosa on labour matters, Ludovica Ceretto on privacy, Nicola Berardi on intellectual property, Alberto Franco on tax and Francesco Comito on corporate matters.

AndPartners separately supported CDP Venture Capital on tax, financial and labour aspects, with Pietro Bracco, Stefano Versino, Marco Coletta, Alessandro Agresti and Luca Agostini Croce forming the advisory team.

CDP Venture Capital’s internal legal work was coordinated by Head of Legal Alessandro di Gioia, alongside Debora Perciballi.

For 360 Capital Partners, K&L Gates acted as legal counsel through a team led by counsel Veronica Muratori.

The notarial side of the transaction was handled by Federico Mottola Lucano of ZNR Notai, assisted by Claudio Zivelonghi and Camilla Tolasi.

With the €11.6 million Series A now completed, Tundr enters its next phase with new institutional backing and a clear mandate for the capital: accelerating the growth of its corporate welfare management business.
