Precision oncology company 4baseCare has raised an additional Rs 38 crore in an extended Series B funding round, strengthening its plans to widen access to advanced cancer genomics across India and overseas markets.
The latest funding was led by growX ventures and existing investors. With this top-up round, 4baseCare’s total Series B raise now stands at Rs 128 crore.
The company had earlier announced Rs 90 crore in Series B funding this year. That round was co-led by Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, with participation from existing investor Yali Capital.
4baseCare works in the field of precision oncology, with a focus on building population-relevant clinico-genomic intelligence. Its work sits at the intersection of cancer care, genomic testing and data-led treatment insights, areas that are becoming increasingly important as healthcare providers look for more targeted approaches to cancer diagnosis and therapy planning.
The fresh capital comes as the company expands its hospital-linked genomics laboratory network. 4baseCare is looking to grow this network across India, Southeast Asia, Latin America and Central Asia, with the aim of improving access to advanced genomic testing and precision cancer care.
The raise also reflects rising investor interest in specialised healthcare platforms that can combine laboratory infrastructure with clinical intelligence. In oncology, genomic testing can play a key role in helping doctors understand the molecular profile of a patient’s cancer, which can support more personalised treatment decisions.
The additional financing by 4baseCare comes at a period where precision medicine is increasingly becoming popular among other countries’ healthcare facilities. By creating a network through hospitals, the firm will be better positioned in terms of being closer to the patients and clinicians, a concept that can assist in expanding genomics testing to non-specialist hospitals.
The company’s international expansion plans also point to a broader opportunity for precision oncology platforms across regions where access to advanced cancer diagnostics remains uneven. Its stated focus remains on making genomic testing and precision cancer care more accessible across multiple markets.
