Bengaluru-based construction materials quick commerce startup HomeRun has raised $12 million in a Series A+ funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners. The latest investment comes just months after the company secured $6.6 million in funding earlier this year, reflecting continued investor confidence in its business model and growth strategy.

The round also saw participation from existing investors Sorin Investments, Titan Capital, Sparrow Capital, and Consumer Collective by Atrium.

Fresh Capital to Fuel Growth Plans

HomeRun plans to use the newly raised funds to accelerate its expansion into new markets while strengthening its supply chain, technology infrastructure, and product offerings. The company aims to enhance its operational capabilities as it scales its business and serves a wider customer base.

The funding marks another important milestone for the startup as it continues to build a technology-driven platform for the construction materials sector, an industry where timely delivery of essential products plays a critical role in project execution.

Building a Faster Supply Chain for Construction Materials

Founded by entrepreneur Pukhraj Grewal, HomeRun focuses on delivering construction and interior materials to contractors and homeowners within 60 minutes. The startup is addressing the need for quick access to essential building supplies by offering a wide range of products through its platform.

Its catalogue includes cement, plywood, electrical wires, paints, hardware, and several other construction and interior materials commonly required for residential and commercial projects. By enabling rapid deliveries, the company aims to reduce procurement delays for professionals and individual customers alike.

The startup currently operates in Bengaluru, where it has steadily expanded across its core product categories while strengthening its local supply network.

Rapid Business Growth Over the Past Year

HomeRun says it has fulfilled more than 100,000 orders since its launch, highlighting increasing adoption of its platform among contractors and homeowners. According to the company, it has also achieved eightfold growth over the past year as demand for faster procurement of construction materials continues to rise.

The company’s focus on operational efficiency and category expansion has helped it strengthen its presence in Bengaluru, laying the groundwork for future expansion into additional markets.

Founder Brings Industry Experience

Before launching HomeRun, founder Pukhraj Grewal built experience in the construction ecosystem through multiple ventures. He previously co-founded Tornado, an interior contracting startup, as well as Project Hero, a marketplace focused on connecting construction labour with project requirements.

His background in the construction and contracting industry has shaped HomeRun’s approach to solving supply chain challenges faced by contractors, builders, and homeowners.

Construction Quick Commerce Gains Momentum

HomeRun operates in a rapidly emerging segment that combines quick commerce with construction material distribution. While quick commerce has traditionally focused on groceries and daily essentials, startups are increasingly applying the same model to specialised categories such as building materials.

The sector has attracted growing investor interest in recent months. Last week, Bengaluru-based construction materials startup Fixxly raised $5.5 million in a seed funding round backed by Accel, Fireside Ventures, and Lightspeed India Partners.

HomeRun also competes with established building material retailers and startups, including IBO and Material Depot, as companies seek to modernise procurement and delivery for the construction industry.

Nexus Venture Partners Strengthens Portfolio

The latest investment further expands the portfolio of Nexus Venture Partners, one of India’s leading venture capital firms focused on early-stage technology companies.

In 2025, Nexus Venture Partners announced the final close of its eighth fund at $700 million. The fund is dedicated to supporting startups across sectors including artificial intelligence, enterprise software, consumer technology, and fintech in both India and the United States.

With the latest funding, HomeRun is positioned to strengthen its operations, expand beyond its existing market, and continue building a faster and more efficient construction materials delivery network.
