Bengaluru-based quick commerce startup BazaarNow is set to raise Rs 72.3 crore, or about $7.8 million, in a fresh funding round led by Peak XV Partners. The round will also see participation from existing investors Whiteboard Capital and Antler, along with Nirman Ventures and a group of angel investors.
The company has approved the issuance of 8,123 compulsory convertible preference shares at an issue price of Rs 89,051.94 each to raise the amount.
Peak XV Partners is expected to lead the round with an investment of Rs 53.92 crore. Whiteboard Capital will put in Rs 7.2 crore, while Antler will invest Rs 7 crore. The remaining capital will come from Nirman Ventures and angel investors, including Vidit Aatrey, co-founder and CEO of Meesho.
The fresh financing is expected to value BazaarNow at around Rs 270 crore post-money, up from around Rs 40 crore during its seed round. The company plans to use the proceeds for working capital requirements and general corporate purposes.
Founded in January 2026 by former executives Priyanshu Jain, Arjun Harish, and Tarithnay Mandal, BazaarNow operates in select areas of Bengaluru. The startup offers sub-10-minute delivery of groceries, daily essentials, and higher-margin categories through a network of dark stores.
The round comes at a time when quick commerce remains one of India’s most competitive consumer internet segments. Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and Zepto continue to dominate the category, while Flipkart Minutes and Amazon Now are also expanding aggressively.
For a young startup, BazaarNow’s challenge will not just be speed. The tougher test will be building a reliable neighbourhood supply chain, keeping delivery economics under control, and finding categories that can improve margins beyond daily essentials.
This was after BazaarNow had received Rs 7.82 crore in seed investment from Antler and Whiteboard Capital in February 2025. Now that Peak XV has joined the cap table, there is no doubt that the company will have access to both more money and better institutional support in its efforts to establish itself in an environment where delivery can make all the difference.
