Om Prakash Swami, the CTO, is a seasoned technologist with expertise in real-time tracking systems and inventory optimization, while Bipin Singh, the CPO, has extensive experience in user experience (UX) design and product management. Their combined vision is to bridge the gap between instant gratification and fashion e-commerce by replicating the immediacy of offline shopping, online. With India’s fashion market projected to reach $115 billion by 2026, according to Statista, the team is well-positioned to capitalize on this explosive growth through their unique tech-enabled, customer-first approach.

Slikk Founding and Growth Trajectory

Established in August 2024 by Akshay Gulati (CEO), Om Prakash Swami (CTO), and Bipin Singh (CPO), Slikk Club has swiftly gained traction in Bengaluru. The platform offers a unique proposition: delivering fashion items within 60 minutes, a service that resonates with the fast-paced lifestyle of urban consumers. As of March 2025, Slikk Club has raised $3.2 million in a seed funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Multiply Ventures and prominent angel investors, including Abhishek Goyal (Tracxn), Abhinav Pathak (Perpule), Madhav Tandan, Nikhil Bhandarkar (Panthera), and Saurabh Gupta (DST Global).

Slikk Product Range and Pricing

Slikk Club has a colorful catalogue of 100+ brands including Snitch, The Souled Store, Freakins, Uptownie, Off Duty, Bonkers and Bewakoof. The site has quite a lot of variety, across categories:

  • Apparel: Western and ethnic wear for men and women.
  • Footwear: Casual and formal shoes, sneakers, and sandals.
  • Accessories: Bags, belts, jewelry, and more.
  • Beauty and Personal Care: Skincare, haircare, and cosmetic products.
  • Wearables: Smartwatches and fitness bands.
  • Luggage and Backpacks: Travel bags and daily-use backpacks.

The pricing scheme is developed for a broad audience, with both value and premium prices. For example, casual tees for about ₹500 and premium dresses and shoes could go up to ₹5,000, so quality does not suffer.

Acknowledging the importance of customer satisfaction, Slikk Club offers a ‘Try & Buy’ model that allows customers to try on clothes before they buy. Together with instant refunds and a simplified user interface, it aims to reshape convenience in the online fashion retail industry. It uses AI for hyper-personalization, providing curated product displays by looking at user habits; demographics; and preferences with better conversion than traditional e-commerce platforms.

Operational Strategy and Expansion Plans

Currently operating with two dark stores in Bengaluru, Slikk Club plans to expand its infrastructure to cover 80% of the city’s pincodes. The company aims to establish 5-6 large-format dark stores, each ranging between 10,000-20,000 sq ft, to accommodate the growing product selection and categories.

In the future, Slikk Club has lofty ambitions to replicate its 60-minute delivery service across various Tier I and Tier II cities throughout India within five years.The company also plans to branch out into even more lifestyle categories such as home decor and fitness gear to reach more consumers.

Market Positioning and Future Outlook

Slikk Club’s fast paced development is in line with the general trend of quick commerce in India, where Myntra has launched a 30-minute delivery service for fashion and beauty products. As a company that has raised significant funds with solid investor endorsement and has placed emphasises on innovation, with a customer centric approach, Slikk Club is set to become a major player in the quickly developing e-commerce environment of India. Slikk Club is not set to stop innovating either and continues to work towards a fashion shopping experience that focuses on speed, variety and personalized service, helping them set a new benchmark in the quick commerce space.
