MrBeast is preparing to release what he describes as the biggest YouTube video of his career, but the creator has revealed very little about what viewers will actually see.

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, said the mystery project has been in development for years, with around $10 million spent on its production. He also said he has personally put more than 1,000 hours into the video.

The announcement has turned the upcoming upload into a guessing game for fans, with viewers trying to work out what could justify such a long production process and budget.

MrBeast Says He Has ‘Dreams’ About the Video

Donaldson revealed the project on X, saying the video would be uploaded this Saturday. However, he did not disclose an exact release time in the announcement.

“This Saturday we upload our biggest YouTube video ever,” he wrote. He said the project had been in the works for years, adding that he was personally more than 1,000 hours into it and had spent around $10 million on the production.

The creator also offered an unusually personal glimpse into how much the project has occupied his attention. “I literally have dreams about the video lol,” he wrote.

While the scale of the investment has generated excitement, Donaldson did not suggest that the video is guaranteed to become one of his biggest hits.

A $10 Million Project With No Promise of a Viral Hit

In a follow-up post, Donaldson acknowledged that the video might not perform as strongly as some of his other uploads.

“It prob won’t perform that well but it’s something I care a lot about and I hope my passion for it shines through,” he wrote, while expressing excitement about its release.

Other fans focused less on the subject and more on what the investment could mean for the final video, with one user questioning what could require that much time and money.

For now, however, those theories remain speculation. Donaldson has not confirmed the video’s concept.

MrBeast’s Recent Projects Have Also Gone Beyond Regular Uploads

The mystery video arrives as Donaldson continues to work on projects extending beyond his conventional YouTube uploads.

Earlier this year, he said Beast Industries would produce a second season of Best Games, titled Strong vs Smart. The project was described as featuring 100 of the world’s strongest and smartest people competing for $5 million, alongside spin-offs involving other celebrities. Another format involves 30 celebrities competing for $1 million for charity.

Donaldson has also recently worked with Gemini and Google Health. Google said MrBeast used Gemini’s artificial intelligence capabilities in a project designed to demonstrate how AI could help bring ambitious ideas to life, while the broader project also highlighted Google Health’s role in everyday fitness and wellness.

A video released on September 5 showed MrBeast and his crew navigating challenging environments, including a jungle and desert, while using Gemini to help identify dangers and deal with difficult conditions.

Saturday Could Finally Reveal the Mystery

Despite the growing theories, the central question remains unanswered: what exactly has MrBeast spent years and roughly $10 million creating?

For now, the creator has revealed only the scale of the project and his personal investment in it. His comments suggest that the video is important to him even if it does not become one of his biggest-performing uploads.

Donaldson has said the video will be uploaded this Saturday, but the information available does not specify an exact upload time. Until the release, the $10 million budget, more than 1,000 hours of Donaldson’s work and his admission that he even dreams about the video remain the biggest clues available to fans.
