The growing stream of Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks has taken another turn, with an account known as Cyberleek returning in October with a 24-minute gameplay video after staying quiet for more than a month. The latest footage adds to a collection of clips showing driving, police chases, character interactions and locations across the game’s fictional version of Florida.

Cyberleek began sharing gameplay clips in August, offering glimpses of Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated open-world title before its official promotional material provided a more extensive look at the game. The leaks have since drawn attention to both the footage itself and the efforts to identify the person or people responsible for sharing it.

Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games’ parent company, took legal steps in August to investigate the source of the material. On August 20, the company filed subpoenas against Microsoft and Discord. It subsequently pursued subpoenas against Google and X Corp, seeking information that could help identify the leaker.

The legal filings referred to the material as “stolen content”, indicating that at least some of the videos cited in the proceedings were being treated as unauthorised material.

How Cyberleek Returned With a 24-Minute GTA 6 Leak

Cyberleek’s early releases offered small glimpses of GTA 6, including cropped sections of its alleged world map and short gameplay sequences featuring Jason Duval, one of the game’s two playable protagonists.

The account went quiet for more than a month following the release of an extended look at the game on Netflix. It returned in October with a much longer video, bringing together several gameplay elements in a single release.

The extended footage reportedly includes multiple vehicle races, car customisation, first-person gameplay and sequences depicting both protagonists without clothing. These details broaden the range of gameplay shown in the leaks, although they do not establish how every feature will appear in the final release.

The timing of the return has also renewed interest in what Cyberleek might reveal next, particularly as the account’s latest video ends with a reference to a longer-term project.

Every GTA 6 Cyberleek Leak Reported So Far

Cyberleek’s releases have covered a variety of activities, from ordinary exploration to violent encounters and possible story-related material. Here is a breakdown of the footage shared so far.

1. Cropped Map Images and an Alleged Full Map

Two early releases showed small portions of the game’s map. One included a location called Dalton Island, while another displayed Tequesta Retreat, Gloriana Key and Catalan Key.

Cyberleek later shared an alleged view of the complete in-game map. However, the footage alone does not establish the map’s final boundaries, scale or the full range of locations available to players.

2. Jason’s Basketball Mini-Game

One short clip showed Jason Duval throwing a basketball into a hoop. The footage offered a brief look at a recreational activity within the game, rather than focusing on driving or combat.

3. Driving, Police Chases and Violent Encounters

Several clips concentrated on Jason’s activities behind the wheel and his interactions with other characters.

One showed him driving before attacking a truck driver. Another depicted him taking a security guard’s taser at night and using it against the guard before kicking him repeatedly.

Additional footage featured Jason driving a high-end sports car around Vice City, with a separate clip showing him committing an armed robbery. Another sequence followed him stealing a hot rod and attempting to evade the police.

A gas station video showed Jason causing trouble, taking a truck carrying gasoline and eventually crashing and dying.

4. Zombix and Its Changing Effects

One of the more unusual clips appeared to feature a healing drug called Zombix. An on-screen tooltip indicated that the drug’s effects would become weaker over time if the player used it too frequently.

The footage suggests a possible system in which repeated use affects an item’s effectiveness. However, the clip alone does not clarify the full mechanics or whether they will remain unchanged in the released game.

5. Aircraft Footage Over Vice City

Cyberleek shared two clips showing Jason flying a plane over Vice City.

The first provided a view of the surrounding game world from the air. Near the end, the player fired bullets into a wall to spell out “LEEK”, a detail that appeared to reference the account itself.

A second video showed Jason flying over the city at night, offering another look at the environment from above.

6. Strip Club, Nightclub and Nudist Colony

Other releases explored locations that players may encounter while navigating the game world.

One showed Jason walking through a strip club before displaying part of an in-game cutscene. Another followed him around a nightclub interior, while a separate clip depicted a nudist gathering where non-playable characters appeared nude and Jason attacked them.

These videos added to the range of environments shown in the leaks, although they did not establish how much activity or interaction each location will support.

7. Gas Station, Beach and Video Game Store

Cyberleek also shared footage of Jason cycling along a beach populated by non-playable characters, commonly known as NPCs.

Another clip showed him walking through a video game store containing shelves of fictional game boxes. Together with the gas station footage, these sequences offered glimpses of everyday locations and background details within the game.

8. Lucia Caminos’ First Appearance in the Leaks

One of the more significant releases showed Lucia Caminos, the second playable protagonist, for the first time in Cyberleek’s footage.

The clip followed Jason as he stole a hot rod and evaded the police before cutting to a scene featuring Lucia. During the conversation, she referred to someone who “drives like a bitch.”

Cyberleek subsequently shared a four-and-a-half-minute prologue video introducing Lucia. The footage reportedly included minor story spoilers, making it more revealing than the earlier clips focused on individual gameplay activities.

9. The 24-Minute Extended Gameplay Video

The latest extended leak brought together several elements, including vehicle races, car customisation and first-person gameplay. It also included footage depicting both protagonists without clothing.

Its length made it a more substantial collection of gameplay material than the earlier short clips. Even so, a leaked build cannot establish whether every visible feature, animation or interaction will be identical in the final version.

What Could Cyberleek Leak Next?

The biggest unanswered question is whether Cyberleek intends to release more footage.

The latest video ended with a reference to a longer-term “project”, but no clear explanation accompanied it. The reference has left open the possibility of further releases without confirming that another leak is planned.

The account’s return in October has also raised the prospect of additional footage before the game’s scheduled November launch. However, there is no confirmed release schedule for future Cyberleek videos, and the account’s next move remains uncertain.

The material shared so far has ranged from small map fragments to a lengthy gameplay compilation. If more footage emerges, it could potentially offer further glimpses of the game’s locations, activities or characters, but there is no verified information about what any future release might contain.

Is the Netflix Extended Look Better Than the Leaks?

For players looking to understand GTA 6 beyond isolated gameplay clips, the extended look released on Netflix may offer a more useful starting point.

The 26-minute presentation is also available on YouTube and includes details that Cyberleek’s footage did not show, including gameplay featuring Lucia.

While the leaks have generated interest through their unscripted gameplay moments and apparent access to a playable build, they present only selected portions of the experience. They do not provide a complete picture of the game’s story, systems or final presentation.

The Netflix footage, meanwhile, brings together a broader range of material in a single presentation. Watching it offers a more structured way to explore the game without relying on unauthorised clips whose context and completeness may be difficult to establish.

For now, Cyberleek’s 24-minute release remains the latest major development in the leak saga. Whether the account follows through on its apparent long-term project is still unknown, leaving fans to wait for further information about Rockstar’s next open-world release.
