Bengaluru-based home décor and furnishings marketplace Vaaree has secured Rs 65 crore (approximately $6.6 million) in a Series A funding round led by Hero Enterprise and Cap Alpha Ventures, formerly known as Client Associates Alternate Fund. The fresh investment will support the company’s efforts to strengthen its technology platform, improve delivery capabilities, and expand its operational infrastructure across India.

Funding to Strengthen Technology and Logistics

Vaaree plans to use the newly raised capital to expand its fulfilment network, allowing it to serve customers more efficiently while reducing delivery timelines. The company also intends to invest in artificial intelligence-driven product discovery and home styling technology, with a key focus on enhancing its proprietary VibeCheck platform.

Alongside technology upgrades, the company will increase the number of fulfilment and quality verification centres in major markets. By positioning inventory closer to customers, Vaaree aims to improve order processing efficiency and gradually move towards offering next-day deliveries across leading Indian cities.

Building a Curated Home Décor Marketplace

Founded in 2022 by Garima Luthra, Varun Vohra, and the founding team, Vaaree operates an online marketplace dedicated to home décor and furnishing products. The platform offers a carefully curated selection across multiple categories, including décor, furnishings, bed and bath essentials, kitchenware, and lighting solutions.

The company currently lists more than 1.5 lakh products, providing customers with a wide range of options for furnishing and decorating their homes. Its curated marketplace model focuses on simplifying product discovery while offering coordinated collections across different home categories.

AI-Powered VibeCheck Platform at the Core

A significant portion of the new funding will be directed towards expanding the capabilities of Vaaree’s AI-powered VibeCheck platform. The feature is designed to make home shopping more personalised by helping users discover products that match their individual preferences.

The platform enables customers to create moodboards, visualise different product combinations, and explore coordinated home styling ideas before making a purchase. By combining artificial intelligence with visual discovery tools, Vaaree aims to improve the online home shopping experience and make product selection more intuitive.

The company believes continued investment in AI will further enhance customer engagement while simplifying the process of designing and furnishing living spaces.

Expanding Fulfilment Network Across Key Markets

As part of its growth strategy, Vaaree will establish additional fulfilment and quality verification centres in important markets across the country. The expansion is intended to improve inventory management, ensure product quality, and shorten delivery timelines.

By bringing inventory closer to customers, the company expects to increase operational efficiency and create a faster, more reliable delivery experience. The long-term objective is to introduce next-day delivery services across major metropolitan markets in India.

The investment in logistics reflects the company’s focus on improving customer satisfaction while supporting its growing product catalogue.

Backed by Existing Investors

With this Series A funding round, Vaaree continues to attract support from a strong group of investors. Existing backers include Peak XV’s Surge, PeerCapital, All In Capital, Better Capital, OTP Ventures, and Kunal Shah.

The latest investment adds Hero Enterprise and Cap Alpha Ventures to Vaaree’s investor base as the company accelerates its next phase of growth. The funding is expected to support both technological innovation and operational expansion as Vaaree continues to strengthen its presence in India’s online home décor and furnishings market.
