Snabbit, a rapidly expanding startup offering on-demand home services, has raised $19 million in a Series B funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. Existing investors Elevation Capital and Nexus Venture Partners also participated, underlining continued confidence in Snabbit’s growth and its disruptive potential in India’s urban services ecosystem.
The fresh round of capital is expected to accelerate Snabbit’s growth trajectory and help it move toward building India’s first comprehensive digital infrastructure for household services.
Aiming to Digitize India’s Fragmented Home Services Market
Founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, Snabbit aims to organize one of India’s most underserved and fragmented sectors: everyday household services. The company operates a tech-enabled platform that allows users to access verified, trained professionals for high-frequency needs like home cleaning, plumbing, salon services, appliance repair, and pest control.
“While ride-hailing revolutionized urban mobility and e-commerce transformed retail, home services in India have remained largely unorganized,” said Agarwal. “Snabbit is here to solve that—offering trust, quality, and speed at the tap of a button.”
The company’s app is currently available on Android and iOS, and uses real-time demand mapping and AI-powered logistics to match customers with service providers efficiently.

Aggressive Expansion Plans Across Urban India
With the newly secured capital, Snabbit plans to expand its operations to over 200 micro-markets across India’s top 12 cities within the next nine to twelve months. This represents a massive jump from its current presence in approximately 10 urban centers.
Snabbit’s hyperlocal fulfillment model allows the company to strategically deploy professionals closer to areas of concentrated demand. This significantly reduces the time from booking to fulfillment—with many services now delivered in under 30 minutes.
The model not only improves customer experience but also maximizes efficiency in resource allocation, enabling Snabbit to scale in high-density, service-hungry markets.
Empowering the Invisible Workforce-Especially Women
Beyond technology and convenience, Snabbit’s real impact is being felt on the ground—especially among women in the informal workforce. The company employs and partners with thousands of workers, many of whom were previously part of unregulated, unstable gig economies.
These workers, called “Snabbit Experts,” receive structured onboarding, certified training, and benefits including:
- Aadhaar-linked bank accounts
- Monthly salaries with incentives
- Health insurance for themselves and their families
- Workplace safety and skill development programs
“Women who were once invisible in the labor economy now have dignified, secure jobs with real career paths,” Agarwal said. “For customers, Snabbit means service quality; for our workers, it’s about empowerment and upward mobility.”
The company claims that over 65% of its workforce today comprises women—a rare feat in the Indian tech-enabled services sector.
Strong Backing from Leading Venture Capital Firms
This Series B round follows a successful $5.5 million Series A raised just four months ago—demonstrating strong traction and investor confidence.
Rahul Taneja, Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners, stated,
“Snabbit is bringing structure, reliability, and speed to a sector that’s long been informal. Their full-stack platform is reshaping how Indian households experience services.”
Suvir Sujan, Co-founder at Nexus Venture Partners, added,
“They’ve cracked a hyperlocal, complex market with a tech-first approach that benefits both consumers and professionals.”
Manish Advani, Principal at Elevation Capital, commented,
“Snabbit’s rapid growth highlights the scale of unmet demand and their ability to convert a trust-deficit industry into a dependable, on-demand experience.”
A Category-Defining Opportunity in India’s Urban Market
India’s home services sector is currently estimated to be worth over $15 billion, according to RedSeer Consulting, yet it remains largely unorganized. The sector covers a wide range of services, most of which have long operated through word-of-mouth referrals or unregulated local vendors.
Snabbit aims to change that by building the digital backbone of the industry-standardizing quality, delivery, and customer support through a unified platform.
The startup also plans to explore IoT-enabled diagnostics for appliance repair, and partner integrations with real estate platforms to expand its reach.
With strong unit economics, an empowered workforce, and a tech-forward business model, Snabbit is poised to become India’s go-to platform for trusted home services-in the same way Swiggy revolutionized food delivery or UrbanClap paved the way for beauty and wellness at home.
