Chennai-based digital transformation consulting company KaarTech has raised $11 million, roughly Rs 100 crore, in a fresh funding round led by Playbook Partners. Existing investor A91 Partners also participated in the round, reinforcing its continued support for the company’s growth strategy.

The investment marks the latest capital infusion for the enterprise technology services provider as it looks to expand its global footprint and strengthen its capabilities in digital transformation services.

Fresh Capital to Accelerate Global Expansion

The newly raised funds will be used to expand KaarTech’s presence in key international markets, particularly across North America and Europe. The company also plans to strengthen hiring in these regions as part of its broader effort to build stronger local teams and deliver services more effectively to global clients.

In addition to geographic expansion, the company is exploring potential acquisitions that could help enhance its product and technology stack. Such acquisitions are expected to support KaarTech’s efforts to deepen its capabilities in emerging areas such as automation, cloud platforms, and enterprise data solutions.

Valuation Climbs After Latest Investment

Based on available estimates, KaarTech is valued at around Rs 2,100 crore, which is approximately $231 million on a post-money basis following the latest funding round.

This investment follows an earlier round in July 2023, when the company raised $30 million from A91 Partners. That funding helped accelerate the firm’s technology development and expand its service offerings to meet rising global demand for enterprise digital transformation.

A Two-Decade Journey in Enterprise Technology

KaarTech was founded in 2006 by Maran Nagarajan, Ratnakumar N, Selvakumaran M, and Guardian George. Since its inception, the company has focused on helping large enterprises modernize their legacy technology systems and transition toward cloud-based digital infrastructure.

The firm’s services primarily revolve around enterprise transformation powered by SAP technologies. Its offerings include cloud migration, enterprise data platforms, artificial intelligence readiness, automation, analytics, and long-term managed services.

By combining consulting expertise with implementation capabilities, the company supports businesses as they modernize core systems and adopt more agile digital architectures.

Serving Global Enterprises Across Industries

Over the years, KaarTech has built a strong presence among large global organizations operating across sectors such as aviation, energy, and government. Its solutions focus on enabling enterprises to move away from traditional on-premise systems and adopt scalable cloud-based platforms that can support advanced analytics and automation.

The company’s work often involves helping organizations integrate modern technologies into complex enterprise environments while maintaining operational continuity.

A large share of its business comes from international markets. KaarTech primarily serves clients in regions such as the Gulf, North America, and Europe, reflecting its global consulting footprint.

Strong Revenue Growth and Profitability Turnaround

KaarTech reported strong financial growth in the financial year 2024-25. The company’s revenue rose significantly to Rs 718 crore in FY25, compared with Rs 458 crore in FY24. This represents a year-on-year growth of 56.8 percent.

In addition to revenue expansion, the company also achieved profitability during the same period. KaarTech reported a net profit of Rs 7.74 crore in FY25, marking a major turnaround from the net loss of Rs 66.93 crore recorded in FY24.

The improvement reflects a combination of higher revenues, expanding client engagements, and operational improvements as the company continues scaling its consulting services globally.

Aiming for the Next Revenue Milestone

With fresh funding and growing international demand for enterprise technology transformation, KaarTech is now targeting further growth in the coming financial year.

The company is aiming to cross Rs 1,000 crore in revenue during FY26 as it expands deeper into global markets and strengthens its service capabilities.

As organizations worldwide accelerate their shift toward cloud infrastructure, data-driven systems, and AI-ready platforms, consulting firms specializing in enterprise digital transformation are expected to play an increasingly important role. KaarTech’s latest funding round signals continued investor confidence in its ability to capture this growing demand.
