The Intelligent Search Company (TISC), a young technology startup based in the San Francisco Bay Area, has completed a pre seed funding round of US$2.1 million. The investment was led by OVO Fund and n49p, along with participation from Panache Ventures. With this early backing, TISC is preparing to expand its technology, strengthen its team and deepen its presence across its target markets.
A Vision Built Around Faster and Smarter Decisions
Launched in May 2024 by founders Arpan Bhattacharya and Mahbod Sabbaghi, TISC is focused on solving a complex and increasingly common challenge. Decision makers across fields like sports, emergency response and defense often work with scattered information arriving from different sources in real time. TISC aims to bring structure to this chaos through an intelligent retrieval engine that can instantly pull together important insights from live, multi modal data streams.
The company’s approach is built around combining data from multiple formats such as text, video and sensor feeds. Instead of treating each source separately, its system blends and interprets them together so that users receive a clear and unified picture. This helps reduce the need for repeated searches and eliminates the delays that can come with trying to interpret fragmented information.

Transforming High Pressure Environments
TISC’s technology is designed for situations where timing is critical and decisions must be made quickly and confidently. In sports, coaches often juggle game film, player reports and real time analytics while reacting to fast changing situations. In emergency response, routing teams quickly and accurately requires awareness of caller data, locations and local registries. In the defense sector, leaders must process telemetry, radar tracks, satellite updates and communication streams to understand evolving conditions.
By bringing these pieces together in one place, TISC offers a way to shorten the distance between receiving information and acting on it. The goal is to help decision makers stay ahead of unfolding events rather than reacting after the fact.
Funding That Supports Growth and Expansion
With the US$2.1 million pre seed round secured, the company is now focused on expanding its capabilities and preparing for larger deployments. The funding will support hiring across engineering and operational roles, allowing TISC to build a stronger technical backbone for its product. It will also help the company scale its early pilot programs and begin forming new partnerships in the markets it aims to serve.
The founders envision a future where teams no longer rely on outdated playbooks or instinct alone when facing complex challenges. Instead, they want TISC’s system to offer clear and timely insights that guide action based on real evidence gathered in real time.
A Future Driven by Context Over Raw Data
One of the major shifts TISC represents is a move from traditional data lookup to intelligent, context driven understanding. Traditional search systems surface information but often leave users to interpret and connect the dots on their own. TISC’s approach focuses on reducing this burden. By merging reasoning with retrieval, the company is working toward a tool that provides precise and meaningful context.
In high speed environments, this could help reduce mistakes, improve strategic thinking and support more reliable outcomes. The technology is built to adapt across different sectors, offering flexibility while maintaining accuracy.
Building Momentum in a Data Heavy World
TISC is still in its early stages, but its direction is clear. As more industries deal with fast moving data and growing complexity, tools that can synthesize information quickly will become increasingly valuable. With its founding team, early partners and new funding, TISC is positioning itself to be a key player in this space.
The company’s mission centers on helping people act with confidence, supported by information that arrives at the right moment and in the right form. If TISC continues to develop on this path, it could reshape how real time decisions are made across multiple fields.
