Bengaluru-based fintech startup GoSats has secured $5 million, approximately Rs 42 crore, in a Series A funding round led by Konvoy. The round also saw participation from Y Combinator, Taisu Ventures, along with several angel investors.

This latest investment marks a significant step in the company’s growth journey as it looks to strengthen its position in the asset-based rewards space. The startup had previously raised $4 million in a pre-Series A round in June 2022 and $700,000 in seed funding in 2021.

Focus on User Growth and Technology Development

The company plans to use the newly raised capital to scale its user base and enhance its product offerings. A key area of investment will be the expansion of its fintech suite, with a focus on improving the rewards experience for users.

GoSats also intends to invest in artificial intelligence-driven personalisation to tailor rewards and financial experiences more effectively. In addition, the startup will strengthen its internal capabilities by expanding teams across engineering, product development, and growth functions. These efforts are expected to support the platform’s long-term vision of building a more engaging and accessible financial ecosystem.

Building a Gateway to Digital Asset Rewards

Founded in 2020 by Mohammed Roshan and Roshni Aslam, GoSats operates as an asset-based rewards platform that allows users to earn Bitcoin and gold through everyday spending. The platform integrates with online shopping, gift cards, and a prepaid payment instrument card, enabling users to accumulate digital and physical asset rewards seamlessly.

By combining traditional spending habits with alternative asset accumulation, the platform positions itself as an entry point for users exploring digital assets. Its approach simplifies access to Bitcoin and gold by embedding rewards directly into routine transactions.

Expanding the Rewards Ecosystem

Looking ahead, GoSats plans to introduce additional fintech products and broaden its rewards ecosystem. The company aims to include new asset classes, offering users more options beyond Bitcoin and gold.

Another priority area is strengthening partnerships with consumer brands and fintech platforms. By deepening these integrations, GoSats seeks to create a more connected ecosystem where users can earn and utilise rewards across multiple channels. This strategy aligns with its broader objective of integrating financial services with everyday consumer behavior.

Bridging Traditional Finance and the Digital Economy

At its core, GoSats is working to connect traditional financial systems with the emerging digital economy. By enabling asset-based rewards on daily transactions, the platform provides a simplified pathway for users to engage with alternative assets without requiring direct investment decisions.

This model reflects a growing trend in fintech where rewards and incentives are being reimagined to deliver long-term value rather than short-term benefits. GoSats’ focus on asset accumulation positions it differently from conventional cashback or points-based systems.

Steady Growth Backed by Strong Partnerships

The platform currently processes an annualised gross merchandise value of $40 million, equivalent to around Rs 360 crore. Since its inception, GoSats has distributed more than Rs 50 crore in Bitcoin and gold rewards to its users.

The company has also established partnerships with major brands such as Flipkart and Google. These collaborations play a crucial role in expanding its reach and enhancing the value proposition for users.

With fresh funding in place and a clear roadmap for expansion, GoSats is positioning itself to scale its operations and deepen its presence in the evolving fintech landscape.
