Experience-focused travel platform Bucketlistt has secured Rs 1.07 crore in a pre-seed angel funding round, marking an early milestone in its efforts to build a technology-driven marketplace for curated travel experiences across India. The round was completed at a post-money valuation of Rs 10.07 crore and attracted participation from angel investors Arvind Choudhar, Aenik Shah, Kartik Khatri, and Yash Mehta.
The newly raised capital will support the company’s expansion plans as it seeks to strengthen its presence in India’s growing experience tourism segment.
Building a Marketplace for Curated Travel Experiences
Founded in 2025 by chartered accountants Shubham Makhecha, Nitant Desai, and Divyam Shah, Bucketlistt operates as a marketplace connecting travelers with verified adventure, cultural, and spiritual experiences. The platform focuses on offering carefully selected activities designed to help users discover unique travel opportunities across different destinations.
In addition to its consumer-facing marketplace, the startup has developed OkGhumo, a software platform designed specifically for experience operators. The solution combines enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities, enabling operators to manage bookings, day-to-day operations, customer interactions, and financial processes through a single platform.
Fresh Capital to Strengthen Technology and Growth
According to the company, the funds will be deployed across several key areas of growth. A significant portion will be invested in strengthening the platform’s technology infrastructure to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
The startup also plans to use the capital to expand its network of experience providers, increase customer acquisition efforts, and hire talent to support its next phase of growth. These initiatives are aimed at scaling both the marketplace and the software solutions offered through OkGhumo.

Early Traction Signals Growing Demand
Since its launch in December 2025, Bucketlistt says it has facilitated bookings worth more than Rs 10 crore and served over 31,000 customers. The platform currently operates in Rishikesh, one of India’s most popular destinations for adventure tourism.
Users can access a range of activities through the platform, including skydiving, river rafting, camping experiences, hot-air balloon rides, and curated access to local events. The company’s focus on verified operators is intended to provide travelers with reliable and organized experiences.
The reported booking volume and customer base indicate growing interest in curated travel experiences, particularly among travelers seeking activities beyond conventional sightseeing.
Expansion Plans Across Popular Destinations
Following its initial traction in Rishikesh, Bucketlistt is preparing to expand its footprint to several well-known travel destinations across the country. The company plans to enter markets including Manali, Bir, Jaipur, Goa, and Ujjain.
Alongside geographical expansion, the startup intends to broaden its offerings beyond adventure tourism. Future additions will include a wider range of cultural and spiritual experiences, reflecting increasing interest among travelers in immersive and destination-specific activities.
By diversifying its portfolio, the company aims to cater to a broader audience while strengthening its position in the experience tourism ecosystem.
OkGhumo Gains Early Adoption
The company’s SaaS platform, OkGhumo, has also begun gaining traction among experience operators. According to Bucketlistt, the platform has already onboarded three vendors that collectively represent more than Rs 40 crore in annual business volume.
The software is designed to help operators streamline operations and improve efficiency through digital tools tailored to the experience tourism sector.
Looking ahead, Bucketlistt plans to further enhance both its marketplace and software offerings. Upcoming developments include the launch of a consumer mobile application, the introduction of loyalty programs, and dynamic pricing features aimed at improving customer engagement.
The company also intends to strengthen OkGhumo through additional integrations and AI-powered booking capabilities, as it continues building technology solutions for both travelers and experience providers.
