New Delhi: Trading platform Sahi has raised $33 million in a Series B funding round led by Accel, with participation from Elevation Capital, marking a sharp step-up in investor confidence around India’s retail trading technology space.

The round values Sahi at around $200 million, nearly three times its earlier valuation. The company had raised $10.5 million in June at a valuation of about $60 million.

Founded in August 2023 by Dale Vaz and Manish Jain, Sahi operates as an NSE and BSE registered broker under Aaritya Broking Private Limited. The platform is positioning itself around a cleaner trading experience for active retail investors, with a focus on fast execution, in-house technology and professional-grade market tools.

The fresh capital will be used to deepen investments in Sahi’s technology and AI stack, expand its product suite into new trading categories and scale its user base.

Sahi said it has built its trading stack in-house, including charting, order execution and automation tools for risk management. For a market where retail participation has grown rapidly but trading interfaces often remain complex, the company is betting on simplicity, speed and decision-support features as its key differentiators.

The platform reported a 24-fold rise in trade volumes and a 19-fold growth in active traders between April 2025 and March 2026. It has executed more than 13 crore trades so far, with over 86 percent of those trades taking place in FY26. Sahi has also onboarded around 4 lakh demat accounts.

For Sahi, the funding comes at a time when India’s brokerage and trading-tech market is becoming increasingly competitive. The company’s pitch is not just to bring more users online, but to make active trading feel less cluttered and more informed for retail participants.

Dale Vaz, co-founder and CEO of Sahi, said India has more than 45 million active investor accounts, but active traders and investors still struggle with the complexity and effort involved in making informed decisions. He said Sahi was built to offer a clean interface, fast execution, professional-grade insights and a platform that helps users trade with confidence and clarity.

With Accel and Elevation Capital backing its next phase, Sahi will now have to prove that its early growth in trade volumes and active users can translate into lasting customer trust in one of India’s most tightly watched financial services segments.
