Pronto, the instant house-help platform founded by Anjali Sardana, has raised $25 million in a new funding round led by Epiq Capital. Existing investors Glade Brook Capital Partners LLC, General Catalyst, and Bain Capital Ventures have also participated in the round, reinforcing their commitment to the company’s rapid expansion.
The fresh round values the company at $100 million post-money.
For Sardana, the milestone is deeply personal and operationally hard-earned.
Announcing the fundraiser Pronto Founder wrote:
“Excited to announce that Pronto, our instant house help platform, has just raised $25 million in a new round led by Epiq Capital. Existing backers Glade Brook Capital Partners LLC, General Catalyst and Bain Capital Ventures (BCV) have doubled down.
That contrast, from a single hub in Gurgaon handling 170 daily bookings to a multi-city operation clocking more than 18,000 bookings a day, captures the speed at which the company has scaled. Pronto now operates across 10 cities and has built a network of more than 3,000 service professionals, referred to as “Pros.”
The company focuses on essential household services such as cleaning, laundry, utensil washing and basic meal preparation, positioning itself as a fast, reliable option for urban households seeking immediate support.
The newly raised capital will be used to hire talent, deepen market presence, and expand into additional service categories over the next 12 to 18 months.
Even with the sharp growth curve, Sardana’s note carried a measured tone. “Most of the work is still ahead of us,” she wrote, a reminder that scaling a service-intensive platform demands consistent execution, workforce management, and customer trust at every stage.
While Pronto has grown from sleeping on the floor in a hub in Gurgaon to handling thousands of daily bookings in less than a year, the opportunity and the grind of the on-demand home services market in India are vast.
