The Mumbai-based fintech company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its operations, strengthen its embedded-finance infrastructure and advance its transition towards an AI-native capital platform.
GetVantage has raised Rs 63 crore, approximately $6.6 million, in a Series A1 round comprising hybrid capital. The latest financing takes the Mumbai-based company’s total committed funding to more than Rs 700 crore.
The round was co-led by Rajeev Ahuja and SanRaj Group. Existing and new participation came from Chiratae Ventures, Varanium Fintech Fund and VCMint.
GetVantage plans to direct the capital towards business expansion while accelerating the development of what it describes as an AI-native capital platform. The broader goal is to make growth financing faster and more accessible for Indian micro, small and medium enterprises.
Building financing into digital business platforms
Founded in 2020 by Bhavik Vasa and Amit Srivastava, GetVantage provides financing through marketplaces and other digital ecosystems. Its embedded model allows businesses to access growth capital through platforms they already use, without giving up equity or providing collateral.
The company uses alternative data and predictive analytics while assessing businesses for financing. This approach is intended to reduce the delays and friction that founders and smaller enterprises often encounter when seeking growth capital.
GetVantage has positioned its platform as one response to India’s estimated Rs 30 lakh crore MSME credit gap. Its backers include Chiratae Ventures, Varanium Fintech Fund, Sony Fund and InCred, along with other industry investors.
Capital gateway and seller financing partnerships
A key part of GetVantage’s next phase will involve scaling its capital gateway, a plug-and-play application programming interface ecosystem designed for B2B platforms, marketplaces and logistics hubs.
The infrastructure enables digital platforms to offer financing options directly within their own systems. Instead of directing merchants to a separate lender or application process, the financing journey can be integrated into the platform’s existing experience.
GetVantage also plans to announce several seller-financing partnerships with leading digital ecosystems in the coming months. These collaborations are expected to deepen its role as an embedded financing partner for platforms seeking to support the growth of their merchants.
The latest round follows the company’s launch of two sector-focused funding initiatives in 2024. GetVantage introduced the Rise Up Fund in March 2024 with an initial corpus of Rs 100 crore to provide growth capital to women entrepreneurs. Earlier that year, it launched Accelerator Fund II to support B2B software-as-a-service businesses.
With the Series A1 capital in place, GetVantage is now focusing on expanding its distribution network, improving its financing technology and embedding access to capital more deeply across digital commerce ecosystems serving Indian businesses.
