Gurugram-based electric mobility startup Trevel has raised $1 million in a funding round co-led by India Accelerator, Finvolve, the Haldiram Family Office, and Rohit Qamra. The round also saw participation from RMRN Ventures, BP Jain Holdings, Bipin Preet Singh, Aakash Goyal, Aakash Anand, Aditya Singh, and several other investors.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen the company’s operations as it looks to expand its electric vehicle fleet, enhance its technology platform, increase marketing efforts, and improve overall service delivery.

Backing Growth in Urban Electric Mobility

Founded in 2025 by Mishu Ahluwalia, Rishi Raj Kochhar, and Sahil Jindal, Trevel operates an EV-focused mobility platform serving customers across Delhi NCR. The company provides airport transfers, city rides, and hourly rental services through an all-electric fleet.

The startup is positioning itself in the growing urban mobility segment, where demand for sustainable transportation solutions continues to rise. By focusing exclusively on electric vehicles, Trevel aims to offer a cleaner alternative to conventional ride services while addressing the transportation needs of daily commuters and travelers.

Building a Diverse Electric Fleet

Trevel currently operates a fleet comprising several electric vehicle models, including the MG Windsor EV, MG ZS EV, Kia Carens Clavis EV, and BYD e6. The company stated that it has signed memorandums of understanding with MG Motor India and Kia India to support future fleet growth.

These partnerships are expected to help the startup scale its operations as it increases vehicle deployment across its service network. A diversified fleet also enables the company to cater to different customer requirements, ranging from individual travel to larger group transportation needs.

Expansion Plans Take Shape

As part of its growth roadmap, Trevel plans to add approximately 25 vehicles every month to its fleet. The company has set a target of expanding its fleet size to 500 vehicles by March 2027.

The planned expansion reflects Trevel’s intention to strengthen its presence in the Delhi NCR market while increasing the availability of electric ride options for customers. The additional vehicles are expected to support higher ride volumes and improve service coverage across the region.

Technology at the Center of Growth

Alongside fleet expansion, Trevel is also investing in its technology infrastructure. The startup recently introduced Trevel 2.0, an upgraded version of its technology platform designed to support its next phase of growth.

The updated platform forms a key part of the company’s strategy to improve operational efficiency and enhance the user experience. With growing demand and a larger fleet on the horizon, technology will play an important role in managing bookings, vehicle utilization, and customer engagement.

Growing Customer Adoption

Trevel reported that it has completed more than 5,000 rides since its launch. According to the company, more than 70% of its users have returned to book rides again, indicating a strong level of customer retention.

The startup views repeat usage as an important indicator of customer satisfaction and service reliability. As it scales its operations and expands its fleet, Trevel will look to build on this momentum and further strengthen its position in the electric mobility space.

With fresh funding in place, a growing fleet, and continued investment in technology, Trevel is preparing for its next stage of expansion as it seeks to increase the adoption of electric mobility services across Delhi NCR.
