Supertails, a pet care startup, has raised $30 million in a funding round led by Venturi Partners, with participation from Nippon India Alternative Investments, Titan Capital Winners Fund, and existing backers Fireside Ventures, RPSG Capital Ventures, Sauce VC, and Saama Capital.
The fresh funds will be utilized by the company to expand the veterinary clinics, the at-home pet care business, and the logistics and fulfilment segment, as well as to take the personalisation segment further into the urban markets of the country.
Valuation: around $130 million post-money
The round values Supertails at approximately $130 million post-money, as per industry reports.
What Supertails is building?
Founded in 2021 by Varun Sadana, Aman Tekriwal, and Vineet Khanna, Supertails positions itself as a “full-stack” digital platform for modern pet parents, combining commerce with services.
On the product side, the app offers pet food, treats, accessories, pharmacy items and other daily essentials . On the services side, it has rolled out at-home veterinary care, including consultations, vaccinations and preventive care.
A key piece of its push is speed and reach. Supertails runs quick commerce delivery in Bengaluru, offering over 30,000 pet care products, and has said it plans to extend the rapid-delivery model to other key cities. The company also says it has onboarded more than 500 brands and built a pan-India network of over 100 veterinarians (including specialists and tele-vets).
This is where the new funding fits: Supertails is effectively betting that pet care in India won’t remain a “buy food online” category. It wants to become the default for care + products + convenience, stitched together by clinics, home services, and a logistics backbone.
Funding history and financial snapshot
Supertails has raised approximately $51 million to date, including a $15 million Series B, $10 million Series A, and $2.6 million in seed funding.
The company has reported revenue of Rs 108.26 crore in FY25, up from Rs 64.63 crore in FY24. Losses were reported at Rs 52.47 crore in FY25, from Rs 41.13 crore in FY24.
Taken together, this round is a clear vote for organised pet care as a serious consumer category, one which blends healthcare-like trust – clinics, vets – with retail-like scale: selection and fast delivery.
Supertails is now funded to push harder on both: more physical touchpoints through clinics, and more reliability through fulfilment and personalisation.
