Kerala-based healthcare startup Preventify, founded by Nirmal NR, has raised Rs 2 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by PedalStart, with participation from angel investors including Viren Shetty, Executive Vice Chairman at Narayana Health, and Jatin Kakrani, COO at Dezy.
The company said the fresh capital will be used to build its first cluster of 10 clinics, expand its programmes for chronic and lifestyle disease management, and strengthen its technology stack, including upgrades to diagnostics and pharmacy integration.
A clinic-led play in preventive and chronic care?
Preventify positions itself at the intersection of clinical protocols, technology, diagnostics, and long-term patient engagement, and currently operates three clinics in the city.
Its pitch is focused on delivering affordable, standardised, evidence-based preventive and chronic care for patients in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in India, segments where consistent long-term care often depends on a mix of access, follow-ups, and reliable protocols.
What happens next at Preventify?
Over the next 12 to 18 months, Preventify plans to expand its clinic network across Kerala, and expects to invest in experienced clinicians, nurses, care coordinators, and central medical teams.
While Preventify hasn’t shared additional operating metrics in the published note, its funding plan is clearly tied to execution on the ground: more clinics, deeper chronic-care programmes, and tighter integration between care delivery, diagnostics, and pharmacy workflows.
