A 13-year-old entrepreneur and founder of NeurapexAI stunned the judges on Shark Tank India Season 5 with a confident, sharply thought-out pitch for an AI-driven healthcare platform, earning an on-the-spot investment offer without negotiations.
Jaiwardhan Tyagi, the youngest founder to appear on the show this season, presented Neurapexai, an artificial intelligence-based assistive technology designed for the medical ecosystem. Calm, composed, and unusually clear about his product’s purpose, Tyagi quickly stood out, not just for his age, but for the clarity of his vision.
What Neurapexai does?
During his pitch, Tyagi explained that Neurapexai is built to assist medical professionals by analysing MRI scans, lab reports, medical images, and patient history, and then generating structured, easy-to-understand medical reports.

The platform aims to reduce interpretation gaps and support faster, more informed decision-making in clinical environments.
Rather than positioning the product as a replacement for doctors, Tyagi described it as a decision-support tool, designed to complement existing medical workflows.
The pitch and the ask
Tyagi sought ₹60 lakh in exchange for 5% equity, valuing his startup at ₹12 crore. His articulation of the technology, combined with a mature understanding of its real-world application, drew immediate attention from the investors. What followed was rare even by Shark Tank standards.
A rare moment on the Tank
Impressed by the founder’s clarity and conviction, Aman Gupta made an instant offer without entering negotiations, a moment that visibly surprised both the audience and fellow investors. The decision underscored not just belief in the product, but confidence in the young founder behind it.
The interaction marked one of the most memorable moments of the season, highlighting how age is increasingly becoming irrelevant in India’s startup ecosystem, especially when paired with preparation, purpose, and technical understanding.
A signal for India’s next wave of founders
Tyagi’s entry into this space represents a paradigm shift in the startup ecosystem in India, as more and more entrepreneurs are being enabled to start their companies at a younger age and think big.
While Neurapexai is still early in its journey, the pitch itself has already sparked conversations around youth-led innovation, AI in healthcare, and how India’s startup landscape is expanding beyond traditional age and experience brackets.
For Shark Tank India, it was another reminder that compelling ideas can come from anywhere. For viewers, it was proof that the next generation of founders is already building.
