IIM Udaipur: A platform for ideas and investors

From AI-driven logistics tools to eco-friendly packaging, founders across sectors pitched their ideas to a jury of investors and mentors. The event began with a felicitation of the investor panel followed by a series of pitch rounds and networking sessions aimed at fostering real-time feedback and partnerships.

Startup lineup highlights

Some of the ventures that drew attention included:

  • Aerofoyl : a baggage-tracking solution using AI for airports.
  • Wellness Z : a personalized health-tech platform focusing on holistic wellness.
  • Brela Innovations : a sustainable packaging startup addressing plastic waste.
  • Zeuron : a computer-vision platform for real-time industrial automation.
  • Audicate : an audio-first learning app converting study material into spoken content.
  • Karotimam : working on biodegradable, printable electronic circuits.
  • Quickverse : an IIM Udaipur alumni-founded drone logistics firm for last-mile delivery.

Startups like Piltover, Clickzy, Medoplus, Sampati Card, and Swadesi Pitara also presented innovative tech and product ideas, reflecting the breadth of India’s early-stage ecosystem.

‘Bridging campus and capital’

Organisers said the event sought to shorten the gap between promising founders and potential investors. “We wanted to create a platform where early-stage entrepreneurs could interact directly with investors and industry experts, and refine their business ideas through live feedback,” said an IIM Udaipur Incubation Centre representative.

Strengthening Udaipur’s startup pulse

The IIM Udaipur Incubation Centre has been nurturing ventures focused on technology, sustainability, and inclusive growth. Its latest showcase aligns with the institute’s growing reputation, IIMU remains among the few management schools featured in the FT Global MiM and QS MiM rankings for seven consecutive years, and ranks 4th in India for research output by the UT Dallas methodology.

Backed by Zoho

With Zoho partnering for the event, the emphasis was also on accessible tech infrastructure. Mentors discussed how affordable SaaS tools can help startups manage operations efficiently during their growth phase.

While the event didn’t announce funding rounds or winners, it ended with a networking huddle that saw investors, faculty, and founders exploring mentorship and collaboration opportunities. Participants said the conversations were “refreshingly practical”, focusing on validation, pilots, and scaling plans rather than vanity metrics.
