Noida-based home salon services startup Yes Madam has raised its first external funding of Rs 50 crore in a Series A round led by Info Edge, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey. The investment values the company at around Rs 750 crore and is expected to support its expansion plans across India.

Info Edge Backs the Startup’s Growth Plans

According to regulatory filings with the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Yes Madam’s board approved the issuance of 2,64,987 Series A preference shares at an issue price of Rs 1,885 per share, raising a total of Rs 50 crore.

The entire investment came from Info Edge through its B8 Fund, making it the sole participant in the funding round. Based on the share allotment details, the transaction values the company at approximately Rs 750 crore, or about $79 million.

The funding marks the first institutional investment in Yes Madam since its inception and reflects growing investor interest in technology-driven home services businesses.

Capital to Fuel Expansion and Technology Investments

The company plans to deploy the newly raised capital toward expanding its presence in additional cities, strengthening its network of service professionals, and enhancing its technology infrastructure.

Yes Madam also intends to focus on improving customer experience while maintaining profitability and operational efficiency. The company said the investment will help it scale operations in a sustainable manner as demand for at-home beauty and wellness services continues to grow.

Building a Nationwide At-Home Beauty Platform

Founded in 2016 by Mayank Arya, Aditya Arya, and Akanksha Vishno, Yes Madam operates an online platform that enables customers to book beauty, salon, and wellness services at home through its website and mobile application.

The platform offers a range of services including haircuts, facials, waxing, massages, and other personal care treatments. Customers are connected with trained professionals who provide services at their doorstep, while the company earns revenue through commissions on bookings made through its platform.

Over the years, Yes Madam has expanded its footprint across multiple cities and built a large network of service providers to support its operations.

Strong Operational Presence Across India

The company claims to process more than three lakh bookings every month and currently operates in over 55 cities across the country. It has also onboarded more than 12,000 professionals since its launch.

The scale of its operations highlights the growing acceptance of app-based home service platforms among Indian consumers seeking convenience and personalized experiences.

As the market for on-demand services continues to evolve, companies like Yes Madam are increasingly focusing on service quality, customer retention, and professional training to strengthen their market position.

Shareholding Structure After the Investment

Following the completion of the funding round, Info Edge has acquired a 6.67% stake in Yes Madam.

The company’s founding team continues to hold a controlling interest, with Mayank Arya, Aditya Arya, and Akanksha Vishno collectively owning 68.61% of the business.

In addition, Yes Madam has established an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) pool of 10%, which has been valued at Rs 75 crore. The ESOP pool is expected to support employee retention and attract talent as the company expands its operations.

Revenue Growth and Profitability Strengthen Business Case

While the company has not yet filed its FY26 financial statements, it has stated that it generated revenue of Rs 195 crore during the fiscal year ended March 2026 and remained profitable during the period.

The growth follows a strong FY25 performance, when Yes Madam doubled its operating revenue to Rs 93 crore and reported a profit of Rs 1.8 crore.

The combination of revenue growth and profitability is notable in a sector where many startups continue to prioritize scale over earnings.

Competition Intensifies in the Home Services Market

Yes Madam operates in an increasingly competitive market alongside established players such as Urban Company and Bengaluru-based GetLook.

The segment is also witnessing fresh competition from newer entrants. Among them is Snabbit, which recently entered the instant salon-at-home services category.

With fresh capital in hand, a growing customer base, and a focus on profitable expansion, Yes Madam is positioning itself to strengthen its presence in India’s rapidly evolving home beauty and wellness services market.
