Bengaluru-based wearable technology company Ultrahuman has raised $70 million in a new funding round led by Qualcomm Ventures, with participation from Labcorp, Alpha Wave, Blume Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners, Alteria and other investors.
The fresh capital will support Ultrahuman’s product development and research efforts across areas including sensing, artificial intelligence, miniaturised electronics, health algorithms and clinical science. The company also plans to invest further in research as it expands its health technology platform.
Fresh Capital To Drive Deeper Health Technology Research
Ultrahuman said the funding will help it strengthen the technology behind its growing range of health and wellness products. The company is working across multiple areas that combine hardware, software, data and health research.
Its broader ambition is to evolve beyond being a traditional wearable health company and build a human-computer interface centred on data collected from the human body.
The company’s platform brings together data from products including the Ultrahuman Ring, Blood Vision, M1 and M2 Live continuous glucose monitoring systems, Ultrahuman Home and the Jade AI system. Together, these products are designed to capture physiological, biochemical, metabolic and environmental data.
Building A Broader Human Data Platform
Ultrahuman has also expanded its focus into health research through initiatives such as Pulsomics. The opt-in platform allows Ring users to participate in health studies, with existing programmes covering areas such as sleep, VO₂ Max and glucose metabolism.
Alongside its research initiatives, the company has introduced several health-focused features. These include AFib Detection, Cycle & Ovulation Pro and cardiovascular fitness age. Ultrahuman also offers PowerPlugs, which provide additional health-related capabilities to users of its platform.
The combination of wearable devices, continuous health monitoring and research programmes forms a key part of the company’s strategy to build a wider ecosystem around human health data.
Ultrahuman’s Business Has Continued To Grow
The latest funding comes after significant financial growth for Ultrahuman. The company reported revenue of Rs 565 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 73 crore in FY25.
Ultrahuman had earlier projected revenue of around Rs 1,000 crore for FY26 as it continued its expansion into international markets. The company has been increasing its focus on overseas markets as it looks to build a larger global presence for its health technology products.
The new investment is expected to provide additional financial support for this expansion while allowing the company to continue developing its product and research capabilities.
From Runnr To Building Ultrahuman
Ultrahuman was founded by Mohit Kumar and Vatsal Singhal. Before starting Ultrahuman, the two founders built logistics startup Runnr, which was acquired by Zomato in 2017.
The company has raised multiple rounds of funding since its early years. Before the latest $70 million round, Ultrahuman had raised $35 million in Series B funding and $17.5 million in Series A funding in October 2022.
The latest round brings fresh backing from a group of investors including Qualcomm Ventures, Labcorp, Alpha Wave, Blume Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners and Alteria. The capital will now support Ultrahuman’s next phase of product development, research and international growth as the company continues to build its technology around data generated by the human body.
