Home improvement startup Lorazzo has raised Rs 5 crore in a seed funding round led by Sprout Venture Partners and First Cheque by India Quotient. The round also saw participation from the Chandigarh Angel Network along with a group of individual angel investors. The funding marks an important milestone for the young company as it looks to build a strong presence in India’s evolving kitchen and bathroom fittings market.

Funding Aimed at Product Depth and Market Expansion

The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate product innovation, strengthen Lorazzo’s design and technology capabilities, and expand its omnichannel footprint across India. The company plans to invest in refining its product range while improving the overall customer experience across both online and offline touchpoints. Scaling distribution and enhancing operational efficiency are expected to be key priorities as the brand works toward broader national reach.

Building for Indian Homes and Everyday Conditions

Founded in 2024 by Jatin Luthra and Saurabh Gupta, Lorazzo operates in the kitchen and bathroom fittings segment, focusing on solutions designed specifically for Indian households. The company develops products that account for practical challenges commonly faced by consumers, including fluctuating water pressure and high total dissolved solids levels. By tailoring designs to local conditions, Lorazzo aims to deliver durability, reliability, and long-term performance.

A Focused Portfolio Across Kitchens and Bathrooms

Lorazzo offers a range of products across two essential areas of the home. Its portfolio includes smart bidets, kitchen faucets, stainless steel and quartz sinks, and modular accessories. The company positions its offerings as functional yet modern, catering to households seeking practical upgrades without compromising on design. By covering both kitchens and bathrooms, Lorazzo addresses high-usage spaces where quality fittings play a critical role in daily living.

Technology and Design as Core Differentiators

Strengthening the design and technology stack forms a central part of Lorazzo’s growth strategy. The company plans to use the seed funding to improve product engineering, enhance material selection, and refine aesthetics that align with contemporary Indian homes. Technology-led features, especially in categories such as smart bidets, are expected to remain an important focus as consumer awareness and adoption continue to rise.

Expanding Reach Through an Omnichannel Strategy

Lorazzo currently sells its products through its own website and has established a presence on major online retail and quick commerce platforms. This omnichannel approach allows the brand to reach customers across multiple purchasing journeys, from planned online shopping to faster, convenience-driven orders. With additional funding, the company intends to scale this model further to improve accessibility and visibility across key markets in India.

Early Momentum in a Competitive Segment

The kitchen and bathroom fittings segment remains highly competitive, with consumers increasingly seeking products that balance durability, efficiency, and design. Lorazzo’s emphasis on India-specific conditions and practical innovation positions it to address a clear gap in the market. The backing from early-stage investors reflects confidence in the company’s product vision and its ability to execute in a demanding category.

Looking Ahead at a Measured Growth Path

With fresh capital in place, Lorazzo is set to focus on disciplined growth, prioritizing product quality, thoughtful expansion, and customer-centric design. As it strengthens its technology foundation and widens its distribution, the startup aims to build a recognizable brand in home improvement, rooted in solutions tailored for Indian lifestyles.
