Gurugram-based health-tech platform Lissun has raised Rs 48 crore in a Series A funding round led by Colossa Ventures, as the company looks to expand its child development services and strengthen its technology-led care model.
Lissun focuses on children with special needs and developmental delays. The latest round brings together both new and existing investors as the startup prepares to increase its presence across India.
New and Existing Investors Back the Round
The Series A round saw participation from Physis Capital and existing investors RPSG Capital Ventures, Ivycap Ventures, Rainmatter, Multiply Ventures and SucSEED Ventures. New investors New Age India Fund and Beyond Capital Ventures also joined the round.
The fresh funding comes after Lissun’s earlier fundraising activity. In September 2024, the company raised $2.5 million in a pre-Series A round led by RPSG Capital Ventures. It also raised Rs 2.77 crore in fresh funding in June 2026 from existing investors, including Rainmatter and India Foundation Fund.
Funding to Expand Sunshine Centres
Lissun plans to use the new capital to expand its Sunshine by LISSUN child development centres in key Indian cities. The company also plans to invest in AI-led solutions built around its proprietary technology and data, while strengthening clinical processes across its network.
Founded in 2021 by Krishna Veer Singh and Tarun Gupta, Lissun operates through Sunshine by LISSUN, its child-care brand focused on developmental and behavioural support. The business combines physical centres with digital products and technology-led tools designed to support children and their families.
Lissun’s current operations include services such as speech therapy, occupational therapy, applied behaviour analysis and special education. Its official Sunshine platform currently lists centres across several Indian cities.

Physical Network Set for Another Big Expansion
According to the company, Lissun has grown fourfold over the past year and currently conducts more than 10,000 therapy sessions every month across 25 centres. It plans to increase its physical network to 50 centres by next year.
The company also aims to scale its digital products significantly, with a target of reaching more than 10 lakh children over the coming years.
The expansion comes as Lissun seeks to combine physical therapy services with digital tools and technology. Its Sunshine platform currently provides child development services covering areas including speech, occupational therapy, ABA therapy and special education.
Building a More Integrated Child-Care Model
Access to specialised developmental and behavioural care remains an important challenge for families seeking support for children with developmental needs. Lissun is positioning Sunshine as an integrated model that brings therapists, child development centres and technology-enabled services together.
The company is focused on conditions and challenges including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and speech and language development. Its approach combines in-person care with digital products intended to extend support beyond physical centres.
The startup’s current expansion also reflects the growing presence of specialised health-tech businesses working across early screening, assessment, therapy and longer-term developmental care for children.
Competition Grows in Specialised Child Health
Lissun operates in an increasingly competitive segment that includes specialised platforms such as Butterfly Learnings, Continua Kids, Hoola Health and Children First from Amaha.
Other startups have also attracted funding in this space. Butterfly Learnings raised Rs 32 crore in Series A funding in 2024, while CureAble raised Rs 2 crore in pre-seed funding in 2025. Gabify raised $175,000 in pre-seed funding in 2026. Paediatric healthcare platform Hoola Health also raised $5 million in 2026 and offers developmental assessments and therapy services as part of its child-focused care model.
With the Rs 48 crore Series A, Lissun is now looking to accelerate its centre expansion, develop technology-led solutions and build a wider care network for children requiring developmental and behavioural support.
