Bengaluru-based omnichannel jewellery brand GIVA is set to raise Rs 110 crore, approximately $12 million, in an extended Series C funding round. The investment is being led by HPV CC1 Ltd, with participation from Premji Invest, Kenro Capital, and Titan Capital.

This fresh infusion comes nine months after the company raised Rs 530 crore, or $61.5 million, in its Series C round in June last year. That round was led by Creaegis, with participation from Premji Invest, Epiq Capital, and Edelweiss Discovery Fund.

Board Approval and Investment Structure

According to regulatory filings accessed from the Registrar of Companies, GIVA’s board has approved the issuance of 94,01,710 Series C1 compulsorily convertible preference shares at an issue price of Rs 117 each. The issuance is aimed at raising the proposed Rs 110 crore.

HPV CC1 Ltd will anchor the tranche with an investment of Rs 74.25 crore, which translates to approximately $8.25 million. Kenro Capital will invest Rs 13.75 crore as primary capital. Premji Invest, through PI Opportunities Fund II, and Titan Capital, via Winners Fund, will contribute Rs 11 crore each.

The company plans to deploy the fresh capital toward operational expenses, including hiring, marketing initiatives, and general corporate purposes.

An earlier report in January indicated that the round may also include a secondary transaction led by Kenro Capital.

Valuation Climbs with Fresh Capital

Based on estimates, GIVA’s valuation is expected to reach around Rs 4,900 crore, or approximately $545 million, following this funding extension. This marks a 22 percent increase from its previous valuation of about Rs 4,000 crore at the time of its Rs 530 crore Series C raise.

The company had not responded to queries at the time of publication.

From Affordable Jewellery to Omnichannel Expansion

Founded in 2019, GIVA began as an affordable jewellery brand focused on accessible designs. Over time, it expanded its portfolio to include gold jewellery and lab-grown diamonds.

Led by founder Ishendra Agarwal, the company has built a strong omnichannel presence. It currently operates around 150 physical stores across India, in addition to its website and mobile application. The brand has also adopted a franchise-led model to accelerate store expansion across cities.

To date, the Bengaluru-based company has raised more than $146 million in total funding. This includes its Rs 255 crore Series B round, which combined primary and secondary transactions and was led by Premji Invest and Epiq Capital.

Revenue Growth Outpaces Loss Expansion

For the financial year ended March 2025, GIVA reported a sharp rise in operating revenue. The company’s revenue increased 89 percent to Rs 518 crore, up from Rs 274 crore in FY24.

However, the company’s losses also widened during the same period. Net losses rose 22 percent to Rs 72 crore in FY25.

Competitive Landscape Intensifies

GIVA operates in a rapidly evolving new-age jewellery segment that has seen increasing investor interest and retail expansion.

Rival brand BlueStone went public in August 2025. The company reported a 40 percent rise in revenue to Rs 1,770 crore in FY25, while its losses expanded 56 percent to Rs 222 crore. BlueStone currently operates more than 200 stores.

Another major player, CaratLane, a subsidiary of Titan Company Limited, reported revenue of Rs 3,583 crore and runs over 350 stores.

The segment has also attracted newer entrants. Palmonas recently raised Rs 55 crore in its Series A round. Meanwhile, Firefly Diamonds secured $3 million in a seed funding round led by WestBridge Capital in March last year.

With fresh capital and an expanding offline footprint, GIVA continues to strengthen its position in India’s growing omnichannel jewellery market.
