Bengaluru-based quick commerce startup FirstClub has secured $55 million (approximately Rs 512 crore) in a Series B funding round led by Peak XV Partners and Sofina, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey. Existing investors Accel, RTP Global, and Paramark Ventures also participated in the latest financing round.
The fresh funding will support the company’s plans to strengthen its presence across new markets, expand product categories, and further invest in technology and supply chain infrastructure. FirstClub said the capital will be used to build a broader quality-focused ecosystem while enhancing operational capabilities as it scales.
Accelerating Expansion Across Categories and Cities
With the new funding in place, FirstClub is preparing to expand its footprint beyond its current operations by entering additional cities. The company also plans to widen its product offerings by introducing new categories including beauty and personal care, home essentials, and pet care.
The startup aims to leverage its technology and logistics network to support this expansion while maintaining its emphasis on product quality. Strengthening supply chain systems remains a key focus area as the company works to meet growing customer demand.
Building a Grocery Platform Around Quality
Founded by former Flipkart executive Ayyappan R, FirstClub operates a grocery-focused quick commerce platform that differentiates itself through a strong emphasis on quality control and curated product selection.
The company reported that it has crossed one million orders within its first year of operations, reflecting rapid customer adoption in a highly competitive market. Unlike many players that primarily compete on delivery speed, FirstClub has positioned itself around product reliability and consumer trust.
Its operating model focuses on a carefully selected assortment of groceries and everyday essentials. The company says it conducts quality assessments before products are made available to customers and follows strict screening processes across multiple categories.

Extensive Quality Checks Across Product Lines
Quality assurance remains one of the central pillars of FirstClub’s business strategy. According to the company, fruits and vegetables undergo inspections before being listed on the platform. In addition, laboratory testing is conducted on a range of staple grocery products, including milk, atta, paneer, and dals.
The startup also states that it has prohibited more than 200 ingredients from products sold through its platform. These measures are intended to ensure consistency in quality and help build long-term customer confidence.
Ayyappan said the company remains focused on maintaining high product standards and earning consumer trust instead of competing solely on the promise of faster deliveries. He noted that extensive quality checks and testing procedures continue to play an important role in the company’s approach to grocery retail.
Strong Investor Backing in Less Than Two Years
The latest round follows a period of rapid fundraising activity for the Bengaluru-based startup. Eight months ago, FirstClub raised $23 million in a Series A round led by Accel and RTP Global. That financing also saw participation from Blume Founders Fund, 2am VC, Paramark Ventures, and Aditya Birla Ventures.
Prior to the Series A funding, the company secured $8 million in seed capital from Accel and RTP Global in December 2024.
Including the newly announced Series B investment, FirstClub has now raised a total of $86 million since its inception.
Positioning for the Next Phase of Growth
The latest capital infusion provides FirstClub with additional resources to scale its operations and strengthen its position in India’s rapidly evolving quick commerce sector. As the company expands into new cities and categories, it intends to continue building its business around product quality, supply chain efficiency, and customer trust.
With fresh backing from both new and existing investors, FirstClub is entering its next phase of growth with a focus on expanding reach while maintaining the quality standards that have become central to its brand identity.
