AI-powered cybersecurity startup Deep Algorithm has raised Rs 16 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Unicorn India Ventures. The round also saw participation from SB Investment based in the UAE, along with investors Prakash Govindan and Himanshu Singhal.
The newly raised capital will be directed toward expanding the company’s presence in international markets. The startup also plans to accelerate product innovation and enhance its cybersecurity platform by introducing advanced identity protection and AI-based security capabilities.
Building Smarter Defenses with AI at the Core
Founded in 2021, Deep Algorithm focuses on developing cybersecurity solutions that address modern digital risks faced by enterprises. Its offerings are built around identity risk management, fraud prevention, and real-time threat detection.
The company’s approach combines artificial intelligence with behavioral analytics to identify suspicious patterns and prevent potential breaches before they escalate. As cyber threats grow increasingly complex, the demand for proactive and intelligent security systems has risen sharply, creating opportunities for startups operating in this space.
Flagship Products Target Identity and Threat Protection
Deep Algorithm has developed a suite of products designed to tackle different layers of cybersecurity challenges. One of its key offerings, adapID-AI, is a behavioral identity intelligence platform that analyzes user behavior to detect anomalies and reduce identity-based risks.
Another major product, BotShield-AI, focuses on protecting digital infrastructure from advanced cyber threats. It offers capabilities such as zero-day threat prevention, distributed denial-of-service protection, and runtime application security. These tools are aimed at helping enterprises safeguard their systems against both known and emerging attack vectors.

Strong Growth Momentum in Enterprise Adoption
The startup has reported significant growth in its business performance. It claims to have achieved a threefold increase in closing annual recurring revenue between FY25 and FY26. Looking ahead, the company expects this figure to grow 20 times by FY27, indicating strong confidence in market demand and product scalability.
This growth reflects increasing enterprise reliance on AI-driven cybersecurity solutions, particularly as organizations accelerate their digital transformation efforts. The need to secure sensitive data and maintain uninterrupted digital operations has made cybersecurity a top priority across industries.
Diverse Client Base Across Key Sectors
Deep Algorithm serves a wide range of clients across banking, financial services, fintech, and enterprise segments. Its customer portfolio includes institutions such as Canara Bank, Karnataka Bank, DCB Bank, CSB, NCRTC, and BVH.
These partnerships highlight the company’s ability to deliver solutions that meet the stringent security requirements of regulated industries. Financial institutions, in particular, face constant threats from fraud and cyberattacks, making advanced identity and threat detection tools essential.
Positioning for the Next Phase of Growth
With fresh funding in place, Deep Algorithm is now preparing to scale its operations beyond domestic markets. The focus on enhancing product capabilities and entering new geographies suggests a strategic push to compete on a global stage.
As enterprises continue to invest in digital infrastructure, the role of AI in cybersecurity is expected to expand further. Startups like Deep Algorithm are positioning themselves at the intersection of innovation and security, aiming to provide solutions that can keep pace with evolving threats.
The latest funding round marks an important step in the company’s journey, providing the resources needed to strengthen its technology and broaden its reach in an increasingly competitive cybersecurity landscape.
