Enterprise technology startup Data Science Wizards (DSW) has raised $5 million in a pre-Series A funding round from angel investors. The fresh capital will help the Mumbai-based company strengthen its enterprise AI platform, expand its international presence, and accelerate the adoption of its flagship product, UnifyAI OS.
The latest investment follows DSW’s seed funding round in October 2024, when the company raised $1.4 million at a valuation of $16.4 million. That round was also led by an angel investor and supported the company’s early growth in enterprise artificial intelligence solutions.
Fresh Capital to Accelerate Global Growth
According to the company, the newly raised funds will be deployed across several strategic priorities. A significant portion of the investment will support product innovation as DSW continues to enhance the capabilities of its AI operating system.
The company also plans to expand its operations in North America, strengthen its engineering and customer success teams, build deeper strategic partnerships, and increase enterprise adoption of UnifyAI OS across regulated industries. These initiatives are aimed at helping the company scale its presence while meeting the growing demand for enterprise-grade AI infrastructure.
Building an Operating System for Enterprise AI
Founded in 2019 by Sandeep Khuperkar, Pritesh Tiwari, Shivam Thakkar and Sandhya Oza, Data Science Wizards focuses on developing AI infrastructure for large organizations.
Its flagship platform, UnifyAI OS, is designed as an enterprise AI operating system that enables businesses to build, integrate, deploy, govern, monitor, and operate both artificial intelligence and agentic AI applications through a single operating layer.
Rather than relying on multiple disconnected tools, organizations can use the platform to manage different AI workflows within one unified environment. This approach is intended to simplify enterprise AI deployment while supporting long-term operational control.

Addressing Governance and Compliance Challenges
As enterprises increase their use of AI across business functions, maintaining governance, security, interoperability, and regulatory compliance has become increasingly important. Large organizations often face challenges in ensuring that AI systems remain secure, transparent, and aligned with internal policies while continuing to scale across departments.
DSW positions UnifyAI OS as a solution to these enterprise requirements. The platform is built to help organizations operationalize AI while retaining ownership of their AI assets and maintaining governance, interoperability, security, and long-term control over their AI ecosystem.
By providing a unified operating layer, the platform enables enterprises to manage the complete lifecycle of AI applications, from development and deployment to monitoring and governance.
Focus on Regulated Industries
Data Science Wizards primarily serves enterprises operating in highly regulated sectors where compliance, security, and operational oversight are essential. Its customer base includes organizations across banking, financial services, insurance, and the public sector.
These industries increasingly require AI platforms that not only support advanced automation and analytics but also provide the governance frameworks needed to meet regulatory and organizational standards. DSW’s product strategy is focused on addressing these requirements through an integrated enterprise AI platform.
Competing in the Enterprise AI Market
The enterprise AI software market includes several established global technology providers. Data Science Wizards competes with companies such as Palantir, Dataiku, DataRobot, H2O.ai, C3 AI, and SAS Viya, all of which offer AI platforms for enterprise applications.
With its latest funding, DSW plans to strengthen its product capabilities and expand its market reach, particularly in North America, while continuing to serve enterprises seeking secure and governed AI deployment. The investment marks another milestone in the company’s growth journey as it scales its enterprise AI platform for organizations operating in complex and regulated environments.
