Bengaluru-based bank locker infrastructure startup Aurm has raised Rs 42 crore in a Series A funding round co-led by Earth Fund and Sattva Ventures, with participation from a group of angel investors. The funding marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to scale its technology-driven storage solutions across urban residential and commercial spaces.
This latest investment builds on an earlier infusion of $10.3 million in the same Series A round from Prime Venture Partners and Magnifiq Capital Trust. The continued inflow of capital reflects steady investor confidence in Aurm’s approach to modernizing secure storage infrastructure.
Focus on Expanding Secure Storage Solutions
Aurm plans to deploy the newly raised funds toward expanding its tech-enabled vaulting network. The company is looking to strengthen its automation capabilities while improving accessibility for users, making secure storage more seamless and widely available.
A key part of this expansion strategy includes increasing the presence of its locker systems in residential and corporate environments, where demand for reliable and easily accessible storage continues to grow.
Building a New-Age Locker Ecosystem
Founded in 2023 by Vijay Arisetty, Suraj HS, Pratap Chandana, and Ganesh Balakrishnan, Aurm is focused on redefining how safety deposit lockers are accessed and used. The startup provides fully automated, high-security private lockers tailored for gated communities and corporate clusters.
By bringing these facilities closer to where people live and work, Aurm enables users to access secure storage without the need to depend on traditional bank branches. This approach simplifies the user experience while addressing practical limitations in the existing system.

Technology at the Core of Security
Aurm’s platform is built around advanced automation and robust security features. It offers military-grade safe deposit lockers that are integrated directly into residential societies, corporate campuses, and even bank branches.
The company’s strong rooms are equipped with 24/7 accessibility, allowing users to retrieve or store valuables at any time. Multi-factor authentication ensures that access remains restricted and secure, while continuous surveillance systems are designed to prevent unauthorized entry and enhance overall safety.
In addition to security, Aurm has focused on creating a more refined user experience. Its facilities include a premium “dressing room” setup, offering privacy and comfort for individuals while accessing their lockers.
Addressing the Shortage of Traditional Bank Lockers
Aurm’s core offering is aimed at solving a long-standing issue in urban India, the limited availability of bank lockers. Many customers face waiting periods or are unable to secure lockers due to high demand and limited supply within traditional banking systems.
The company’s “vault-at-your-doorstep” model presents a practical alternative by decentralizing locker infrastructure. Instead of relying solely on banks, Aurm’s system allows secure storage to be embedded within everyday environments, making it more accessible and scalable.
This model not only improves convenience for users but also supports a more distributed approach to secure storage, which can adapt more efficiently to growing urban needs.
Strategic Backing from Real Estate-Focused Investors
Earth Fund, one of the lead investors in the round, is a venture platform that focuses on proptech and climate-forward real estate innovation. It is anchored by Brigade Group and Gruhas, and works closely with startups that combine technology with physical infrastructure.
Through its Capital++ model, Earth Fund provides portfolio companies with access to developer networks, industry expertise, and real-world deployment opportunities. This strategic support is expected to help Aurm accelerate its rollout across residential and commercial developments.
With strong investor backing and a clear focus on innovation, Aurm is positioning itself to reshape the secure storage landscape by integrating advanced technology with real estate infrastructure.
