Former X product chief Nikita Bier has put a striking price on his startup expertise: the shortest currently available consultation on expert-advice platform Intro costs $15,000 for 30 minutes.
Archived versions of his Intro listing show that his sessions hovered around $1,000 in 2022 and 2023. By 2025, Intro was advertising a $7,500 session.
Now, Bier’s Intro profile advertises sessions as “starting at $7,500” and references a 15-minute call, but the available purchase options begin with a 30-minute session priced at $15,000. That works out to $500 a minute, or $30,000 an hour.
There is another filter beyond the price. Bier’s listing says he will accept bookings only from venture-backed companies, making the consultation a highly targeted offering rather than a general business-advice service.
What founders can ask Nikita Bier
Intro suggests that customers can use the session to ask at least three questions covering startups, growth or investing.
Bier lists several areas in which he can offer guidance, including viral growth, product development, design, community building, fundraising and growing a social following. The platform also gives prospective clients examples of the kinds of questions they could bring to the call, including how to launch an app and which distribution channels could help an app grow.
Fortune similarly reports that the consultations can cover startup building, growth, investing, virality and raising capital, with a 30-minute minimum for Bier’s sessions.
For a founder paying the minimum $15,000, the structure makes each question unusually expensive if the session is limited to only the three suggested topics. The value proposition, however, rests heavily on Bier’s track record in building consumer products and understanding how they spread.
Bier’s startup record sits at the center of the pitch
Before his time at X, Bier co-founded tbh, an anonymous social polling app that Facebook acquired in 2017. He later co-founded Gas, another social app, which Discord acquired in 2023.
Fortune reports that both apps reached No. 1 on Apple’s App Store and accumulated millions of downloads. The publication also notes that Bier later worked as a product growth partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners and launched Explode, a disappearing-message mini-app built for Apple’s Messages platform.
Bier joined X in July 2025 after years of publicly offering product advice to Elon Musk. He stepped back from leading product at X on August 5, 2026, and remains an adviser to the company.
That background appears to be a central part of what Intro is selling. This is not a traditional consulting engagement spread across weeks of meetings and analysis. It is a concentrated half-hour conversation built around access to someone whose résumé includes two consumer startup acquisitions and a senior product role at X.
Expensive, but not the most expensive expert on Intro
Bier’s $15,000 minimum places him near the top of Intro’s marketplace, but not at No. 1.
Business Insider reports that Intro’s price-sorted marketplace ranks Bier as its second-most-expensive expert. Hudson Leogrande, founder of Comfrt, advertises a $10,000 15-minute session, although his shortest available booking also starts at 30 minutes, bringing the minimum price to $20,000.
Bier’s profile also carries a 5.0 average rating across 127 ratings on Intro. Reviewers quoted on the listing described the sessions as highly valuable and densely packed with advice.
Intro itself was founded in 2020 by Raad Mobrem, who had previously sold startup Lettuce to Intuit. The platform is built around paid one-on-one video access to specialists and business figures. Other experts named on the platform include Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and venture capitalist Andrew Chen.
For Bier, the latest listing turns his experience into an unusually high-priced, tightly controlled consulting product. The $15,000 figure may grab the attention, but the more revealing detail is how far the price has travelled from archived listings that showed sessions around $1,000 only a few years ago.
