Furlenco spent 93 paise to earn Re 1 in FY26 as revenue reached Rs 370.43 crore, profit jumped 19X

Rental-led services contributed 92% of operating revenue, while Furlenco’s cash and bank balances more than doubled to Rs 75 crore during the year.

Furniture rental company Furlenco closed FY26 with a sharp improvement in both scale and profitability, reporting revenue from operations of Rs 370.43 crore and a profit of Rs 59.52 crore.

The profit figure was 19.1 times the Rs 3.11 crore recorded in FY25. Revenue growth has also been substantial over a longer period, with the company expanding from around Rs 140 crore in FY24 to about Rs 370 crore in FY26, representing roughly 2.6X growth in two years.

One number offers a particularly useful view of how the business operated during the year. Furlenco spent Rs 0.93 for every rupee of operating revenue in FY26.

Rental services remained Furlenco’s main revenue engine

Furlenco’s business continues to be heavily driven by its service operations.

Income from rental services accounted for 92% of operating revenue in FY26. This segment grew 64% to Rs 341.07 crore during the year. The company offers furniture and home decor on rent, alongside relocation services.

Revenue from the sale of products was much smaller but also recorded growth. Product sales increased 38% to Rs 29.36 crore in FY26.

Together, the two streams brought Furlenco’s operating revenue to Rs 370.43 crore.

The company also recorded Rs 4.99 crore in other income, taking total income for the year to Rs 375.42 crore.

Expenses climbed, but profit growth was much stronger

Furlenco’s expansion came with a higher cost base.

Total expenses increased 45.1% to Rs 343.85 crore in FY26 from Rs 236.94 crore in the previous year.

Other expenses formed a sizeable part of the outgo, rising 34.4% to Rs 181.04 crore from Rs 134.7 crore in FY25. The financial statements classify these expenses under miscellaneous costs.

Despite the increase in expenditure, the rise in income was enough to produce a significantly stronger bottom line. Profit climbed to Rs 59.52 crore from Rs 3.11 crore a year earlier.

Operational earnings also improved. Furlenco’s EBITDA nearly doubled to Rs 129.5 crore during FY26.

ROCE rose to 13.17% from 5.37%, another notable change in the company’s financial metrics during the year.

Cash balance more than doubles to Rs 75 crore

The improvement was not limited to the income statement.

Furlenco’s cash and bank balances increased to Rs 75 crore in FY26 from Rs 32 crore previously, more than doubling during the period.

Current assets also grew sharply, rising 67.9% to Rs 178 crore from Rs 106 crore.

Taken together with the Rs 0.93 expenditure for every rupee of operating revenue, these numbers provide a wider picture of Furlenco’s FY26 performance beyond the headline revenue and profit growth.

Rentomojo IPO adds another point of interest to the category

Furlenco competes with Rentomojo in the furniture and home appliance rental market.

Rentomojo has received SEBI’s observations for its proposed initial public offering. The IPO comprises a fresh issue of Rs 150 crore along with an offer for sale of up to 28.4 million shares.

Rentomojo reported revenue of Rs 265.96 crore in FY25.

For Furlenco, FY26 marks a year in which rental services remained overwhelmingly dominant in the revenue mix while profit, EBITDA, cash holdings and current assets all moved higher. Its jump from Rs 140 crore in FY24 to more than Rs 370 crore in operating revenue in FY26 also shows how quickly the business has scaled over the past two financial years.
