AI cybersecurity startup Armadin has raised $255.5 million in a Series B funding round, pushing its valuation beyond $2.5 billion. Announced on October 1, 2026, the investment comes amid growing investor interest in companies developing cybersecurity solutions to counter threats powered by artificial intelligence.
The latest round was co-led by venture capital firms Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, with Bain Capital Ventures and Redpoint joining as new investors. Existing backers Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Menlo Ventures and In-Q-Tel also participated in the funding.
With this investment, Armadin’s total funding has reached $445 million, giving the company additional capital to expand its cybersecurity operations.
Armadin to Scale AI Security Platform and Research
Armadin plans to deploy the fresh capital towards scaling its platform, strengthening research and training initiatives, and expanding its go-to-market efforts.
The company takes an AI-driven approach to cybersecurity, deploying a swarm of artificial intelligence agents designed to behave like hackers and identify potential weaknesses. Its technology focuses on finding vulnerabilities by simulating attacker behaviour, an approach that comes as investors increasingly back startups building defences against AI-powered cyberattacks.
Kevin Mandia, who also serves as its CEO. Mandia previously established Mandiant, the cybersecurity firm that was later acquired by Google.
The $255.5 million investment adds to Armadin’s financial backing as it works to scale its technology and commercial operations in the evolving AI cybersecurity market.
